Do NOT ever stay here. Rooms are unhygienic, stained dirty carpets, dirty, no security. Uninhabitable for human or animal. Rude , uninterested manager. This place has no right to even advertise itself as a hotel. We had to find alternative accomodation as staying there was not an option

We went to Everglades, and stayed in the Budget Room - we found the rooms to be very outdated, dirty and stuffy. There wasn't a fan and my husband and I slept very uncomfortably due to the heat of the room. I am well aware that the budget room , is called the "budget room" for a reason. But we...

My wife and I recently stayed at the Everglades hotel for a weekend away on a daddys deal special. On arrival we were upgraded to the new delux rooms on the far side of the property. I recommend the delux rooms as they are very spacious and elegantly decorated. The staff were humble and efficient at the hotel. The hotel...

If going to Everglades I would strongly suggest not going for one of the budget rooms. Outdated decor, paint peeling off window frames, old bathroom, horrible smell from the chemicals used on the thatch and only one plug so you must choose to watch TV or have the heater on. They need a big upgrade! The staff were very good...

We stopped in for one night after a wedding in the area, left the next morning before check-out time. Very quiet and tranquil, can imagine it would be an awesome place to chill and take in the scenery - next time I'll be putting some time aside to climb the Dargle mountain; set just behind the hotel. Room was nice...

Everglades Hotel is located in the stunning Dargle Valley, the Midlands, KZN at the foot of the Inhlosane Mountain. Although its in the Midlands the hotel is not near Midlands Meander and requires about 20 minutes drive on dirt road in car. It's a lovely estate consisting of various thatched buildings and I stayed in a four room block. My...
