We are a resort offering luxury, fully furnished & equipped custom log homes located on the Ohio Rivers edge, in the Hoosier National Forest in Magnet, a small town in Southern Indiana. Everything is provided, just bring food & drink. This is truly a nature lovers paradise, located on our own 1 mile private road. Hiking, caves, boating & canoeing, zip-lines, fishing, theme parks, water parks, horseback riding, restaurants, wineries, antiques, casinos, golf, & weddings on the Rivers edge are but a few of our activities & offerings. All have private, CLEAN Hot Tubs on their covered porch, emptied, disinfected, & refilled with city drinking water in between each guest. This is a courtesy call to this business to update their website that doesn't disclose a minimum night stay other than holidays. When I stated their website made no mention of single night stays Mr. Colucci laughed before hanging up the call. Not a good way to do business. Buyer beware. They do not off these services. It is not listed in their term agreements. (I have stayed at Buzzards Roost lodge several times in years past as a frequent customer. never left a bad review. But I believe this warranted one)

We stayed for a weekend anniversary trip in Le Chalet and had a great time. I loved walking in to soft music playing and a great view. It was a nice relaxing weekend which is exactly what we wanted. It is scenic and away from big restaurants and grocery stores, bring everything you need with you. We had a great time and would love to go back!

My sister and I spent two nights/3 days in the Bonnie Pearl the end of June. I needed to just get a way for some "mental health" days, and she agreed to come with me. We had grown up on the river and it had always been my solace. I needed nothing more than to just sit on the balcony and watch the river go by. I loved watching the hummingbirds fight for time at the feeder. We counted the number of barges that pushed the coal up the river and pushed the coal down the river. It was a wonderful time of reminiscing and relaxing. The cabin was spotless. It had everything that we needed. I went home in a much better place and now can't wait to go back for a longer stay. Thank you Bud and family.

We just spent three delightful nights at the Yin Yang and can NOT say enough good things about the setting, the cabin, the cleanliness, and the owners, Bud and Shelly Colucci. We were welcomed warmly and made to feel completely at home while getting much needed rest and relaxation. Seriously, we have found our new runaway and are already looking forward to returning.

We stayed at Colucci Cabins for the weekend when we went to the 2021 Derby. Based on our previous experience, I wanted to find someplace to stay outside of Louisville (our first trip we stayed in a no-tell motel for 2 nights for $600). We got a lot more bang for our buck at Colucci Cabins. We stayed in the Moondance. Bud and Michelle really have a great thing here. The setting, the cabin--everything was wonderful and EXACTLY what we needed for a weekend away. The cabin was super clean and included so many small touches that just made being there even more welcoming (fresh cut flowers on the table!). The amenities were great, but the view was spectacular. After our day at the Derby, all we did was grill hot dogs and sit in the hot tub and enjoy the calm and quiet, watching the movement of the river, the boats and the birds. Bud and Michelle were very accommodating (as we had to add our dog at the last minute--and it wasn't a problem for them at all). I am so glad I found this place and we will gladly make this our "Derby" home.…

We stayed in the Heron's Nest Cabin. It is located directly across from the office. There was no traffic...no noise...just peaceful relaxation. I needed an iron and it was delivered to me within minutes! We will definitely be open to another visit! We watched the barges...even had an Eagle sit on a tree branch close enough to take a picture! It was so nice to disconnect from the world in such a wonderful place! The only problem we faced was on the last day. It had warmed up and the Japanese Beetles were abundant in the cabin.

Bud and Michelle are one of kind hosts who treat you like family! We stayed in the Moondance cabin. The whole experience was awesome. Beds are very comfortable! The hot tub was wonderful after riding the motorcycles all day. Breathtaking views and a relaxing weekend. We will definitely be back.

We tried to go to these cabins back in November for my little brothers birthday && it was the ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! Once we arrived, the cabin was nothing like it was described!! There were very few blinds or any curtains on most of the windows! You got the creepiest vibes inside the cabins, as if you were being watched the entire time! Not to mention there was a significant hole in the ceiling above the bed! Once we contacted the owners and told him we were leaving, they showed up to our cabin! They were both recording us the entire time and they were belligerent and very drunk! We were flipped off and cursed and all of this in front of two children! DO NOT GO TO THESE CABINS OR DEAL WITH THIS HORRIBLE PEOPLE! They had no respect for us or for our children! I pray for them to change their ways or decide that this is the wrong business for them!…

We stayed in the cabin called Ying Yang for two nights, enjoying the view of the river, the solitude of the surroundings,the space to explore, and the privacy needed to truly feel at home. Our view could not have been better! Occasionally watching barges chug upstream while others swiftly made their way downriver was all the entertainment we needed. Relaxing was our number one objective, and that we did!

Myself, my fiance and another couple visited in the Fall of 2019 and WOW what a beautiful place. The scenery from the drive in was a two lane road with the trees changing in color guiding our way to LeChalet (our cozy cabin). The view of the river in the morning with the fog skating across the water ; to the view of the moon highlighting it at night warmed our hearts. Bud the owner, was very gracious and the cabin outdid our expectations. We toured the Merango Caves that are close by and ate at Marcy's in town. Highly reccommend that place as well. All in All, 100% satisfied. Thanks Magnet Indiana and Colucci Cabins!!
