Alexandra is a beautiful place to stay at TCI. The beach is wonderful and literally in front of the hotel. Service was good, the food was good for an all inclusive, drinks and cocktails were reaaally good.

This is at best a 2-3 star hotel. Not a resort. There are so many better places to stay on Grace bay - do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. Come here if you like loud music and karaoke blasting at all hours of the night, so loud that you can still hear it with all the doors/windows closed. Nothing relaxing about this place. No room service. Lack of food or drink service by pool/beach. The Palms next door is beautiful, we ended up going there for many meals as the food at Alexandria was not good, with the exception of Fish Deck which was enjoyable. Overall a really disappointing experience.

We are scheduled to leave the Alexandra Resort today and I felt compelled to write this review because of the outstanding service we had. Latisha worked with me prior to our arrival to insure smooth sailing. The Covid19 negative test requirement was simple and the additional insurance required for Medivac was very cheap (Allianz). We are so glad that we decided to come and use our timeshare as Latisha and the entire island made it a simple and painless procedure for a beautiful week. Yes, the beaches are very quiet but these are treasured times as I will in all likelihood never see Grace Bay as my own private beach again in my lifetime. Security and Latisha made sure we had their direct cell phones and Latisha made sure our jet was set and she was ready to welcome us back if the storm prevented us from leaving. The island’s Covid protocol for restaurants is just outstanding and we could not have felt safer. The protocols at this resort were were amazing as well. I would have to say that this was the best and most relaxing vacation I have had in years. If you have the opportunity to travel here soon take advantage of it and come!!! Thank you to all of you at the Alexandra!

I have to say, we were a little concerned to travel during these times, trip was supposed to be end of May and had to move to 7/23 due to the pandemic. The government of TCI did an amazing job with the entry requirements, strict but just right to make it there feeling safe. Upon arrival the staff showed us the true appreciation of being open again. The entire staff greeted our taxi along with another couple with an amazing grand opening welcome celebration. That was just the start of getting to know the staff, talked tho the Manager Owen (who also gave us a heart felt goodbye at the end). After a quick check in we were taken to our room and promptly took the kids to the beach! That's when we met our first friend Jimmy, He made sure we had drinks and let us know more about the resort. Everywhere you went there was hand sanitizer and mask wearing staff, never once did we feel at risk. The room was huge, had a 2 bedroom for 6 of us and had plenty of space. Clean and had everything you need and then some. Large table huge kitchen, large bedrooms and bathrooms and a balcony larger than many hotel rooms. Normally a room is a room but for the time we had there and the storm, it was like home away from home! We met so many amazing people that just took care of everything we needed, food, drink, towels, Snorkeling suggestions, activities or just a friendly person to chat with. We were lucky to have the resort to ourselves as there were so few people there but seeing how much everyone went out of their way to make sure we were happy, I would imagine if they were 100% capacity, O'Brien and all the rest would be there to make you smile (guy never sleeps!). Theresa was the sweetest server, she always made her way to us even if we were not near her section. The bartenders were on spot, whether we had an off the wall request, or we needed suggestions for us or the kids, Scott and Jesus had us at the pool bar and Davidson tried to stump me a couple times with his concoctions at the main bar! A must was many visits to Lisendi at the Smoothy Shack - YUM! Dinner at Blackrock is a fun experience, be sure to cover up, cooking on an 800 degree stone can get messy but fun. Save room for deserts, Our daughter couldn't get enough Chocolate decadence. Really we were not served anything we didn't like, it was frequently try mine or that looks good! The activities and entertainment folks, Romain, Luigi, Yoshi, DJ Ding, Lady Jania and of course Rhyene who searched to find us when we left just to say goodbye. I know there were many more but I just could not keep all their names straight, sorry ladies and gents! They kept us entertained and I know they always had a smile, even i we couldn't see it. That was the only sad part is not seeing that island smile! Even with the limited number of guests, there were often activities for all, shows in the evening, pool fun, Caribbean history, Bingo on the beach with cool prizes. The talent of the musicians, dancing while playing steel drums - YES! Calm singing during dinners from Jania - sweet! The pool was sweet, large enough to play and keep safe distance. was noce to have some entertainment while in the pool from games to little shows by the staff. I wanted to give all these folks as well as the names I didn't catch or can't recall off hand a very genuine THANK YOU! My Wife and I took our moms and kids down for a trip of a lifetime and they made it possible. Not to mention Tropical Storm Isiais that extended our trip 2 nights. Again, the staff made sure we were safe checking in on us on a regular basis. For a trip during COVID to include a tropical storm, all I can saw is WOW. If you have not scheduled your fall vacation, I believe they reopen October 15, be there! There are dozens of places to choose from down there but from what we felt, this is not just a resort if felt like family. PLEASE go there and support them, you will be safe there and they need your love. Just please wear a mask around the folks, not just because it is law, do it out of respect for the locals. They are still welcoming us there, we need to respect them and keep them safe!

My family visited the resort in early August 2020. Our expectations were surpassed. I travel quite a bit for work and their service is some of the best I have ever seen. The resort is in a great location on Grace Bay. Nightly entertainment was high energy with the Pozitive Vybrationz. Rhyeme, Romaine, Clive, DJ Ding, Raphael and Milo deliver a high energy performance. GREAT SHOW! Fred with the room staff kept our room fridge stocked. Wesley and Louis were friendly and very helpful with the water sports and snorkel rentals. Jimmy brought us our food and drinks daily on the beach with a friendly conversation and smile. O'Brian met us each night to make sure out dinner was out of this world. This staff went out of their to make sure we had a great time. Because of that, I always tipped out of appreciation. I really couldn't have asked for more. We would go back in a second. Thank you Alexandra Resort for a trip of a lifetime.
