I found most of the employees at the resort to be quite unhappy. When we checked in, the resort was barely explained. For example when I’ve got to resorts like this in Jamaica not only is everyone friendly and smiling but at check in there is a map shown of the resort showing us where we are, where we will stay, and other properties. No map, no explanation of anything!!! Everything I learned was from guests that were already there a few days ago. Resorts like yours that boast that they are quality shouldn’t hand out junky looking copy machine papers. Trying to make a reservation for restaurant dining or beach chairs at the adults only resort was a nightmare. No one can answer the phone and then when I went to the lobby at 7:15am there was a line of people waiting to do the same, this is unacceptable for a resort that cost over $3000.00 for a 4 night stay. Our first night we tried to eat at the recommended Rock restaurant and it was a disaster! I think it is important to tell guests that you probably won’t be seated for two hours, so that another choice can be made, like to go, found this out third day in, or maybe I would have eaten at the buffet? The positive side is that I had consistent amazing service from Patrona at asu breakfast!!! The chef from the breakfast shift came out and was warm and friendly, so was Joseph at the omelette station and Marie who asked me everyday how I was doing! At the front desk the most pleasant and efficient service we had was from Miracle. Dinner at the Fish deck was one of the best meals I had and Loudridge gave outstanding service. If you’re going to pay people minimum wage and ask them to wait on people hand and foot, I think it’s important to tell guests that tipping is not included in your all-inclusive stay nor will it be collected at the end, so please tip for good service. I chose your resort because of positive reviews on both Tripadvisor and Google, but was unpleasantly surprised by the paint peeling in my bathroom and the constant feeling that my partner and I were a burden. I will be leaving a review of my experience in both Tripadvisor and google.

We stayed 7 nights in mid-July at the Alexandra for our honeymoon. Originally we had booked a 1BR Oceanfront room, but were disappointed to find out that the bedroom itself wasn't the room with the view, just the living room area. This should probably be more explicit with the pictures on the website. Additionally, the first floor in the Oceanfront buildings may as well be labeled "Garden View" because of the dunes. We talked to Adrian at the front desk who was extremely accommodating and able to move us to an Oceanfront Studio where the entire room had a view of the white sand beach and turquoise water. Both rooms were very clean and well kept. The A/C was cold and in mid-July you definitely need it on some of the hotter days. We spent the majority of our time at the beach and although there were some tour companies walking up and down the beach trying to get you to parasail or snorkel a simple "no thank you" and they were on their way. Outside of that there were no real issues, but as with most resorts people come down early in the morning and claim their chairs then disappear for hours which for us wasn't a real problem because we're early risers, but I could see how this may annoy other guests who have children or tend to sleep in. Perhaps only opening umbrellas and providing towels for people as they come down is a better way of managing it, but it seemed like people were taking extra towels up at night to lay down the next morning as some days we were on the beach before towels were even available (around 7:00 AM) and much of the first row real estate was already claimed. The food at all of the restaurants was great! Breakfast is your typical all-inclusive hotel foods with pancakes, bacon, omelets, and other assorted continental breakfast options. Lunch and dinner were both great, however there were some inconsistencies with the service in terms of timeliness and accuracy which was really not a huge deal, but something that could be improved. Likewise, we were confused as to whether or not there was beachfront drink/food service as some days it seemed like there was waitstaff taking orders and bringing food down, but other days they were nowhere to be found. Again, not a real issue if you're on island time, but consistency in the food service would probably make this a 5-Star resort. There was also nightly entertainment which was family friendly and pretty fun, but once it was over most people went back to their rooms (around 9:30). This could be purely due to COVID and people not really wanting to stay out and socialize, but it would be nice if they had some adult entertainment from 10 to midnight, even if it was just a DJ. Overall, we had a great experience at the Alexandra and would recommend it to anyone including families. But please, leave your fast-paced metro lifestyle behind when you get here and have a little perspective (looking at you negative reviewers).

We had a great time here! The ocean is beautiful and our room was great. Patrona gave us amazing service every time we saw her. Definitely thankful for her! She made sure we had everything we needed every morning for breakfast and when we saw her at lunch.

We stayed for the 2nd time at Alexandra Resort and certainly had an awesome time again. Some of the people that made our stay special include Forty - the man - he works like crazy to make sure everyone is happy and goes above and beyond! We also received friendly smiles and hellos from all the care takers and certainly loved the staff at Asu and the Fishdeck. We like to explore the other resorts within the TCI Luxury Collection and had really great experiences and food at fire and ice restaurant, Salt restaurant was incredible and Natalee made sure service, food and drinks were always perfect while Vincenzo makes the best authentic pizza Napoli style there is! At the Beach house Kitchen 218, Rose and Cory were incredibly awesome and Carlton is in a class of his own - he made our beach dinner incredibly romantic and special. We love the Turks and Caicos islands and will come back many more times - very special place with very special people! The only comment we would have is that they need to change the way people need to make reservations for some of the restaurants - standing in line at 7am on your vacation does not appeal… Thank you.
