Hello future TCI travelers!! I spent months and months researching the perfect place for our first time in TCI (this was my 50th b-day trip which was very delayed due to COVID) I'm now 53 - better late than never, right?? Lol I went with my two childhood besties, and we all agreed on what was most important to us, and what our “must haves” were....so that helped – these were our must haves, in no particular order: 1. Min of 2 bedrooms plus a sofa bed (both bedrooms had king beds w ensuites and suite has not one, but two sofa beds) 2. Min two full bathrooms (has two full plus a ½ bath off the kitchen too) 3. Steps away from the beach (literally 20 steps until our feet hit the soft powdery sand) 4. Spacious balcony with stunning ocean views close enough to hear the waves (there was a large round table with 4 chairs, an egg shaped swinging chair that was fun to sit in and even a small sofa and two more chairs with a table plenty of room!! 5. Convenient and walkable to stores, restaurants etc. (location is very close and walkable to so many great places!!) 6. Clean & updated decor (recently renovated with beautiful colors and fancy furniture) 7. Non crowded beach (never had to rush to save chairs or felt squished in, not once!) 8. A pool/hot tub (had both, great size and very clean with lots of seating around it) 9. Friendly and attentive staff (everyone was kind and there is a bar with beach service and some food not a full restaurant but nice to have and yummy drinks) 10. reasonable price (for all above, 7 nights, we split $6K 3 ways which is very affordable) Villa Renaissance checked each box...and THEN some!!! 😊 We were impressed with our first interactions with Catherine, the manager of unit 205. She was super responsiveness, kind and willing to help answer the plethora of questions we had along the way and until our arrival day which was May 20th (we spent 7 amazing nights) and just returned two days ago. I am suffering from PPS (post paradise syndrome) and desperately want to go back ASAP!! Lol I can’t think of a more perfect place to spend our 1st time in TCI....it was the most relaxing and amazing vacation to date.....even surpassing Grand Cayman which held first place, until this trip! I wouldn’t hesitate to book unit 205 at Villa Renaissance with Catherine. She was actually a big deciding factor when making our final decision between VR and a couple of other resorts on Grace Bay. The units are all privately owned, I think only 40 units give or take....so it’s never crowded even when at full capacity! You will interact with like-minded vacationers who are all looking to chillax on the beach in the stunning turquoise waters of Turks and Caicos!!! Grace Bay was awesome...I’ll be back! Here are a few pics from our trip!!!! 😊

Our experience in Unit 204 at Villa Renaissance was an outstanding experience and beyond our expectations!! The unit is perfectly appointed with everything for your needs. The owners have spared no attention to the detail of the unit. The kitchen has everything you may need, bedrooms are beautiful and extremely comfortable each with their own bathroom with shower. Beautiful deck with ocean view to sip your coffee in the morning or your cocktail in the evening. Gorgeous beach with water so blue you can't stop enjoying the view! It was difficult to pack our belongings to come home, we wanted to stay forever.

Amazing time at Villa Renaissance! The property is in the best location along Grace Bay given all the shops and restaurants within close walking distance. Unit 304 was very spacious and clean. All of the furniture and decoration choices were nice. The balcony and impeccable views were the stars of the place. All of the staff were amazing. You can get great food from the nearby Blue Bar delivered to you on the beach. The tennis/pickle ball court was fun for some family competition. This place is an amazing value compared to its neighbors on Grace Bay (Ritz Carlton, Seven Stars, etc.). Will definitely return again!

We had a lovely stay at this luxury resort. The amenities and location were perfect! It was quiet and super clean. Our 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and updated. The beds were so comfortable as were the towels. Felt like home! The cute town was across steps out the front drive, but yet felt secluded. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate to stay here again. We had a good meal at Danny Bouys, Hemingway, shay cafe and pizza pizza. Mornings were started at crest and berry, sandbox/LMN2 go and brew and leaves. Don’t miss the customized donuts! Yum! Don’t forget your sunscreen and bug spray!

There are times that I’d like to write a review that “trashes” a place not because of a bad experience but to hide a gem. But then I realize that’s being selfish. So, here’s my review of Villa Renaissance. The facility is very old and run down, no one goes there anymore. (The truth) Yes the resort is older than some of the others surrounding it but management is super attentive and keeps everything in proper working order. The condos are dirty, noisy, and very uncomfortable. (The truth) Ok, it’s the exact opposite. The house keeping staff keeps everything clean and fresh. They are also magical. We were always surprised when we returned to our unit to find everything cleaned and re-organized just like when we arrived the first day. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the only noise at night was my snoring. The Happy Hour drinks are watered-down messes. (The truth) Wow, tasty and potent, better take it easy. The pool was crowded and the water cold. (The truth) The resort was completely booked. We never had a problem securing a lounge chair and umbrella. I don’t think there was more that 8-10 people in the large pool at any one time. And, the water was just like my wife likes it - in the 80’s. The beach area was crowded and lounges were unavailable. (The truth) Once again, we never had an issue getting lounges and umbrellas when we wanted to stay on the beach. Of course Grace Bay Beach is huge and never crowded. You do have to walk a tiring 70 feet to get to the beach from the resort though. The staff is rude and unfriendly. (The truth) We didn’t meet anyone that wasn’t pleasant and helpful. In fact, one of the staff a gentleman named Taylor, became our own island advisor. Whenever we met, he asked what were doing that day and gave us lots of very helpful information. We could tell that was Taylor’s true and friendly nature. The resort is located in a remote section of the island making it difficult getting to many of the island’s restaurants. (The truth) It’s actually in the heart of Grace Bay and you can walk to several fine restaurants. We had a unit that only looked out on a little garden area. (The truth) Actually, this one is true. I’ve got to tell you, even though we didn’t have a view of the ocean, I loved my setting. OK, now you know what to tell other people and you now the truth about Villa Renaissance, so shhhhh.

This beautiful VR unit on Grace Bay is ideally located and has a fantastic layout. From the equipped kitchen and peloton bike to its’ overall easy access, everything you need is at your fingertips, including: the resort pool, tennis court, beach, gym, bicycles, restaurants, shopping, and nighttime entertainment. We couldn’t have asked for a more convenient setup. Additionally, the staff was lovely, we felt safe, and Anna’s dining and activity recommendations were excellent. My family and I particularly loved the 1/2-day parasailing trip and horseback riding on the beach (the clarity of the ocean water was amazing!). We’ll certainly be back again.

I was underwhelmed during my recent stay at Villa Renaissance. I'll start with the positives...the location was ultra-convenient to shopping and restaurants. The servers that provided pool and beach service were great despite being understaffed. Our unit (#603) was nicely appointed and we were very comfortable overall except for the loud bass from music being played well into the early hours of the morning from Blu Bar & Lounge which provides a perfect segue to the negatives... Allied Management Company overcharged me for an extra person when I booked the unit last year (the reservation was initially made for 2 people and then I added 1 additional person a few months after booking). However, I noticed upon our arrival that the unit slept 4, and was advertised as such, so why the up charge? Allied Management Company was not responsive when I called or emailed with questions in general prior to my arrival, unfortunately, and I am still waiting for a response as to why I was overcharged. Additionally, It's important for guests to know that Villa Renaissance is not really a resort, but more a collection of self-service private villas to rent. One of the property employees showed us to the unit but did not carry our bags. Given the amount that we paid to stay for one week it was especially disappointing after traveling nearly 10 hours to arrive with no assistance. Another negative was the behavior of the (adult) guests at the pool. One morning I actually heard a man shout at the top of his lungs "6am\ club in the house!" The adults would monopolize the pool very early and their loud voices not to mention the children shrieking would jolt me awake before 7am. We spent the majority of the time at the beach. Thankfully, we did not have to wake up super early to reserve chairs as there was ample supply but the beach attendant wasn't very friendly and provided ambivalent service at best. On our last night, I was greeted by a very large cockroach crawling on the bathroom wall at 3am. Exhausted from the loud bass pounding through the walls, weary from the early morning wake-up howls, lackluster service and then startled by a 2-inch pest, I think it's safe to say I will not return.

Your feedback allow us the opportunity to improve our service. One bedroom condos are rented at a base rate of 2-person occupancy, every additional guest is an additional charge of $50.00 per night per person. We are looking into the other issues noted and working to resolve them promptly.

5 friends stayed in villa 308, a spacious, well furnished, and so comfortable unit. When not at the beach or meals, we spent all our time on the large and lovely balcony overlooking Grace Bay. Beautiful views day and night! This unit was very well equipped, had everything we needed. A personal welcome, complimentary rum punch from the poolside bar, and property introduction by Brickell upon arrival was nice! Conveniently located to many great restaurants (some walking distance, others a short cab ride) for dinner. Walk the beach for ocean view lunch at the Deck at Seven Stars Resort and Hemingways. Staying at Villa Renaissance made our longtime friends’ getaway an even more special experience! Would most definitely stay again!

I can usually find something wrong with any accommodations, but I can't with Villa Renaissance. It sits on a spectacular beach. You're in walking distance to restaurants and shopping (including groceries). The staff is focused on making your stay perfect. The condo was stocked with everything we needed. The onsite restaurant/bar provided quality food/drinks with personalized service. We had a wonderful week.

Our family of four just returned from an incredible trip at Villa Renaissance!! Our sons are in their early and mid-twenties and we Loved every moment of our vacation!! We stayed in unit 201, using two of the three bedrooms plus the third bathroom. We Loved the awesome furnishings and decor of this unit! The best part was the expanded balcony with absolutely incredible views of Grace Bay!! We loved starting every morning with coffee and muffins from Lemon2 Go on the balcony over looking gorgeous Grace Bay! We enjoyed delicious lunches and awesome drinks at the restaurant by the pool. Our sons had fun playing tennis! We had an awesome time at the Fish Fry on Thursday! We enjoyed dinners at The Deck, Hemingway, BLT Steakhouse, and Lupo. Grace Bay beach was spectacular! Loved our walks on the beach. The water was absolutely gorgeous. Grace Bay beach was a primary reason that we went to to Turks and Caicos and it was amazing!! We had a great time on a 30 foot catamaran for a half day excursion that included snorkeling with Big Blue Collective and would highly recommend. Villa Renaissance was a perfect place to stay for our family vacation!! Very relaxing and a lot of fun!! Thank you very much to Robin, Dijah, Brikelle, and Alisallie (sp) behind the bar for being so wonderful and making our trip so special!! Everyone was so friendly and helpful; we appreciated everything!! We Love Villa Renaissance and hope to return!!
