Hands down best place I have ever stayed. Breathtaking views, great staff. The rooms were so clean it was unbelievable. Quiet, relaxing, just simply perfection! Beach was perfect and in a quiet location. Walking distance (3 minutes) to cabana bar & flamingo cafe. Rent a car and explore the island if you have the means - there are lots of fantastic restaurants (coco bistro & cocovan, Omar’s beach hut, da conch shack, and was pleasantly surprised with how delicious mango reef restaurant was! We went for lunch one day and dinner another it was so good!) Grace Bay is exquisite but if you can check out Taylor bay.
Wonderful Condo! I cannot express enough how wonderful this complex is. We celebrated My Father and husbands birthday with a family trip and lucked out getting the Penthouse Suite for our family of six. We loved our stay. The condo was impeccable, we had one small issue with refrigerator and management immediately solved the problem. The condo is on the quiet end of Grace Bay , but walkable to so many restaurants, and other hotels. The Beach was quiet, view amazing and it is run as a top notch rental. We rented a car to get into main part of town, but it is also bike friendly. Wouldn’t bike at night, but definitely if you are active, it is possible. We rented 701, it is well equipped with all amenities, the cleaning staff were so kind and wonderful. Check in and check out was so easy. Management gives you a local phone and are on call at all times. We will be back to this hidden gem! Thank you to Coleen, Terria, and Elizabeth for sharing this beautiful place and taking such good care of us. We will cherish the memories our family had here. My Father turned 80 here , what a great experience for him. Thank you to all the staff. Can’t wait to come back!…
I couldn't imagine the Venetian living up to the photos, but it absolutely did! Yes, the water was that blue; yes, the views were that spectacular. We never had to save umbrellas or chairs -- the place was quiet and uncrowded. The walks were beautiful. We enjoyed the options of walking, biking, and taking short drives to the many great restaurants nearby. Snorkeled at the Coral Gardens, did a private 1/2 day tour with Blue Collective, and My Way tour kayaking with turtles in the mangroves. Everything was so close, but starting/ending the day at the Venetian was the highlight. Time with family was priceless. *stay was Feb 26-Mar 5 2022
I've lost track of how many times we've stayed at The Venetian. It's simply one of our favorite places on Earth. This time, we upgraded to The Penthouse, one of two on top of the hotel that offer endless views of Grace Bay and designer-worthy accommodations. There's a fabulous enclosed porch with way too comfortable (!) rocking chairs, plus outdoor space that almost makes you feel like you're floating above the beach. There were six of us visiting this time, and everybody had a very nice bedroom, private bath, and more than enough space to spread out. I have to give a shoutout again to the longtime staff members Coleen and Ornella, who are great at organizing taxis, excursions, Covid testing for your flight back, and any minor details that may crop up during your stay. This was definitely one of our best vacations! We're already booked again for next year!…
This place is our happy place and a gem. This was my second time staying here (June 2021) and felt compelled to write another review. We have been to several resorts on the island. This is our favorite. The privacy on this part of the island and beach is priceless. The beach is gorgeous, condos are immaculate and beautiful, and staff know you and treat you like family. Wonderful place! We will be back for sure!
This is my first review I’ve ever written about an establishment. I just felt compelled to share how amazing The Venetian is with everyone. Our family took a much needed vacation to The Venetian on Grace Bay. A family friend referred us to this place and we are so thankful they did, because the experience was amazing. Everyone at the resort was so friendly and welcoming. The ladies in the office helped us with finding the perfect birthday cake for our daughter who was turning eight! They even put their personal touch on the experience by singing Happy Birthday to her. She loved them. The condos are spacious, beautifully decorated, very well maintained and perfect for everyone to enjoy. The location is perfect on Grace Bay as well. You can’t beat it! Our family will return back to this property as they have gained loyal customers in us. I would refer the people and the property of The Venetian to anyone! On the last day of our stay, my husband, who’s traveled the world, left me a note saying this was the best vacation he’s ever been on, and of course I agreed!…
We finally got a chance to return to our favorite place in the Caribbean! After a few years away due to family obligations and Covid regulations, it was really great to return "home." The units are just as we remembered - thorougly luxurious and amenity filled ( no need for extra clothes with a washer/dryer in each unit) with outstanding views of Grace Bay from the sun splashed screened porch. The staff is great - huge shoutout to Coleen, Ornella, and Terria ( spelling) who will always go the extra mile to answer any questions or solve any problems you may have during your stay. And then there's the beach! It's only a few steps away from the condos, and a quieter and less crowded spot than many other areas of Grace Bay. If you are looking for a respite from this upside down year, a truly relaxing vacation on one of the best beaches in the world, look no further. The Venetian should be at the top of your list!…
We’ve been to so many Caribbean locations. This was one of the best properties we’ve ever stayed at. The suites are gorgeous and have everything you need including a fantastic kitchen. The balcony extends to outside the main bedroom. There is even a laundry room with a washer/dryer/sink. It is immaculately clean. Housekeeping are so nice and do an incredible job. Many hotels in Turks & Caicos do not have the phenomenal ocean view of Grace Bay you find here. It’s breathtaking. An ocean view is one of my main requirements when visiting the Caribbean. This view blew us away. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. I had an absolutely divine massage from the sweetest masseuse ever. The location is perfect as well. It’s a quick drive or bike ride from so many stores and restaurants. There is also a really good restaurant next door and they offer beach service to The Venetian as well. This was truly heaven on earth. We can’t recommend it enough.…
The Venetian is located at the northern most spot on Grace Bay. Next door to it's sister property the The Tuscany, then Ocean Club West and Club Med. We booked a 2 bedroom at The Venetian and a Hertz rental car. We arrived and were greeted by the manager Coleen and her assistant. They were very pleasant and helpful. We flew in from LAX and our luggage got delayed but they were helpful in getting it to us later in the evening. NOTE: We learned the hard way. All of these units are 3 BEDROOM/3.5 BATH UNITS. If you book a 2 bedroom [as we did] no where in the booking materials does it state that every unit is 3BD/3.5BA. If you book a 1 or a 2 BED they just shut the doors to the other rooms. If you open the door or use one of the other rooms THEY WILL CHARGE YOU! I assumed since we were delayed, due to our luggage, that they ran out of 2 BED suites and stuck us in a 3 BED. I didn't even think about it. It was me, my husband and my daughter. On vacation, my husband likes to stay up late and watch TV so typically he will sleep in one room and my daughter and I will share the other. But when we got there and saw 3 rooms my daughter just slept in the 3rd room. The next day after the maid came through they called us saying they were going to charge us for a 3 bedroom. When we went upfront to the office to ask about it they seem to think we were coo-coo for making that assumption but we told them my daughter would just move her stuff into my room and they agreed to not charge us. SOLUTION: They should definitely explain the 3 bedroom situation either during the online booking process or when guests arrive. That is the correct way to handle it. Not shut a door and expect guests to just know. But either way, in the end, they made it good. LOCATION: Best spot on Grace Bay. The beach is less crowded and as you walk down toward Club Med it gets significantly more crowded. ROOMS: These are great rooms, decorated wonderfully with fully equipped kitchens and washer/dryers. They also provide soap and dryer sheets daily as well!. SERVICE: The service is second to none. I had a 90 minute deep tissue massage and I would highly recommend! There aren't restaurants located on the property but the best food we had on the island is at Ocean Club West just a 5 min walk down the beach. Plus the people on the property were very helpful in setting up everything we wanted to do [parasailing, paddle boards, clear bottom canoeing, etc] COST: Just be prepared. This island is not cheap. On top of the cost for the room [definitely $$$$], a week's worth of groceries from the IGA for 2 adults and a 16yo girl ran about $500. Lunch for the 3 of us out at a restaurant [burgers, sandwiches, etc] was $100 with tip. Excursions ran on average $300 each. COVID-19 LOGISTICS: you have to get tested, get your results and get approval from TCI to travel. There was a little issue. They kept wanting me to prove my daughter and husband had insurance. The card only had my name because my employer carries our insurance. But they ultimately approved us. Upon arriving at LAX they checked all of the documents so make sure you print the approvals AND the negative test results from the lab. You also need to get tested before coming back to the US but The Venetian has an agreement with Seven Stars. They provide you a link to make an appointment, it cost $50 each and it went very smooth. Again those documents were checked both at PLS and MIA on our way back to LAX. I would definitely recommend. This was a great post-pandemic vacation!…
This property and the staff are amazing and worth every penny. So helpful in coordinating activities and restaurant reservations. Truly a 5-star experience. Highly recommend staying for at least a week. You won’t want to leave.
