My wife and I have never been to Turks & Caico's before, but when we return we will definitely stay at The Regent Grand . The resort is luxurious and yet quaint with a view that’s unbelievable . The gardens , pool and walkway's were impeccable and the staff goes above and beyond to care for you. We want to thank Randal, John and Linda for making our vacation one of the finest in 40 years. We would highly recommend The Regent Grand

TL;DR: I am really disappointed by the way the reservations team has treated us so far, after an experience they acknowledged was unacceptable. Based on this experience as a whole, despite the kind and extremely hard-working existing staff, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation that is worth their hard-earned money. The people who work the grounds at the Regent Grand are all wonderful. They are doing their best. But the hotel is terribly understaffed, and it shows in an experience that is not worth the cost. I wonder if it's a more recent problem, since I note that the last positive review was more than six months ago in June 2023. The most glaring problem with our stay was mechanical issues in our room (Room 503), which was about $3,000/night not including all the taxes and fees. For such a hefty price, a nice room isn't enough -- everything needs to be in good working condition and if it's not, it should be fixed immediately. But we had several issues in our room including a ceiling fan that did not work and a pretty major plumbing issue. The ceiling fan issue was never resolved our entire stay. It took a lot of hounding the staff, apologetically but with the knowledge that we had paid enough that we shouldn't be having to deal with this on vacation, to get the plumbing issue resolved, and it was only resolved on our last day there. Again, it is really the cost of this hotel that makes it so egregious that we had to deal with these issues and had to do so much work to get things fixed. Aside from those larger issues, there were a lot of small disappointments and things that again just didn't feel right for a place that is so expensive. It was almost always a long wait and again took many requests for even simple things like getting towels either in the pool or beach area or getting more water bottles (no other drinkable water available). People on the staff told us directly that the entire place was short-staffed and that was why it was so difficult to get anything done. But when you are charging guests SO much money, you absolutely need to hire enough people and pay them competitively enough that you can give people the experience you've promised and CHARGED FOR! We visited other hotels with comparable prices and they had double, triple, the amount of staff working. Privacy and peace may be part of the Regent Grand's whole deal but that is not an excuse for abandoning guests to fend for themselves amidst real room issues and the need for basic essentials like drinking water. Also, the hotel had a chance to redeem itself -- we made sure to raise the issues we were having several times with the front desk while we were there, but even though they were again trying their best, they basically kept telling us that the problems were due to short-staffing. When we said we should at least get some kind of refund or compensation for the lackluster experience, we were referred to the Reservations Manager. When I spoke to her on the phone the morning after we returned stateside, she gave a couple lukewarm explanations but acknowledged that what happened during our stay was unacceptable. She promised to get back to me the same day with information about being compensated for all the things we didn't receive during our stay. But I still haven't heard back from her. In a sensitive situation like this when people have paid so much money for an experience that was not worth it and at times felt honestly like a rip-off, it is a really bad look for the customer service managers to give people the run-around and string them along rather than being honest and taking accountability for problems caused by under-staffing. I am really disappointed by the way the reservations team has treated us so far and based on this experience as a whole, despite the kindhearted and HARD-working existing staff, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially given the price point. I hope to hear back from the reservations team about what they are willing to offer guests whose experiences are not up to standard, to incentivize guests to keep returning and to recommend this hotel to others. If that happens I will be happy to be able to update this review to reflect the fact that the staff who are currently working here are lovely and, with appropriate support and compensation, could provide guests with a worthy, first-class stay.

Dear PCFGLOBAL, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed experience at The Regent Grand. We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences and disappointments you encountered during your stay. Your feedback is invaluable to us, as it highlights areas where we must strive for improvement. We deeply regret that your visit did not meet the high standards of service and luxury we aim to provide. The issues you faced with room maintenance and service delivery are far from the experience we intend for our esteemed guests, especially at the premium price point you mentioned. Our team is dedicated to ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay for all our guests. It is disheartening to learn that our efforts fell short during your visit. We acknowledge your frustration and understand the importance of swift resolutions in maintaining a relaxing and trouble-free environment. We take your concerns seriously and are actively working to address the challenges, particularly regarding staffing and service efficiency. Rest assured, your comments have been shared with our management team for immediate action and improvement. Regarding the unresolved issues in Room 503 and the lack of timely response from our reservations team, we deeply apologize for the inconvenience caused. I will personally ensure that your case is re-evaluated promptly, and we will reach out to you directly to discuss compensation and ways to make amends for the subpar experience. Your feedback motivates us to reevaluate our approach and reaffirms our commitment to providing a flawless guest experience. We understand the significance of accountability and transparency in resolving such matters. We genuinely value your loyalty and would be grateful for the opportunity to make amends. Please expect a direct communication from our reservations team to discuss compensation and address your concerns comprehensively. We genuinely hope to regain your trust and the opportunity to demonstrate the true essence of The Regent Grand's hospitality. Your willingness to update your review following a satisfactory resolution means a lot to us, and we will do our utmost to ensure your next experience exceeds expectations. Thank you for your patience and understanding. We look forward to the possibility of restoring your faith in our resort. Warm regards, Paul Telford General Manager The Regent Grand

Very quiet resort. Beautiful pool and beach was really nice. Umbrellas and chairs provided. The staff was Amazing!! Randall, John, and the reception area were great. John and Randall took excellent care of us. Helping us get set up with Grandkids at the beach. Helping carry items from the beach. Best service I’ve experienced. We stayed in a 3 bedroom and had a beautiful view. I give this resort 5 stars simply for everyone’s kindness. My 3 year old grandson, Cayden really enjoyed his stay.

Incredible experience. Staff is top-notch, attentive and very friendly. Rooms are very large, spacious and clean. The grounds are well kept and manicured. The pool is one of the best on the island. And the walk path to the beach is breathtaking. We will definitely be back and wish we could’ve stayed longer.

I'm a little late in writing this review, we traveled to the Bianca Sands last year in March during spring break. It is a quiet, hidden hotel in walking distance to so many restaurants and shops and the grocery store. The rooms are extremely spacious and the beach was stunning. We didn't have to wake up early to get a chair because there was plenty of room. I had read alot of reviews before going and also spoke to a friend who stayed here so we knew this would not be a full service resort. There was no food on site although they said they were going to be opening up the food area by the pool in the future. My only complaint is the front desk is not very helpful so we ended up booking our own restaurants and activities and our room wasn't ready for a long time even after the check in time.

It’s worth a try! Third time in T&C, Loved our room, oceanfront. The room was large, and clean. The bed was comfy. Loved the beach and pool and that everything is in walking distance. However, keep in mind this is NOT a full service hotel. We were ok with that for a couple of days, but it got old real quick. We prefer having a restaurant on property and to be able to order food and drinks at the beach and pool. We didn’t have this at Bianca Sands. So we moved to another hotel.

Completely amazed at this property and 5 star staff. We were expecting a hotel style room and when we walked in our jaw hit the floor. Full, luxury condo style, apartment with large balcony overlooking the ocean, living room with sectional couch, kitchen' and 2 bathrooms!! A very small, resort with a private feel. Perfect for mother- daughter bonding, without the bustle of a large resort. The staff was absolutely amazing, helpful, and knowledgeable in all areas. Great location and with in walking distance of a shopping strip and restaurants. We are hopeful to return next summer for another amazing trip!!!

Bianca Sands is located on a peaceful and beautiful stretch of beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We felt welcomed by John and Watson in the hotel and on the beach. Our room was lovely with a great view and kitchen amenities, perfect for families. It is located near shops and restaurants, all within walking distance. We did have difficulty with the loud music coming from the Houkah bar down the street. This was an issue every night until 1-2 am. Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. This was a problem for our teenager as well. Hopefully, this can get addressed by management in the future. Overall, we had a great vacation and hope to return to TCI soon!
