Our experience here was wonderful. We checked in and there was a little bump (our room was not the one I thought I had booked) but the is was graciously resolved by Barbara, the manager. The service at the resort was so wonderful. Every person we met smiled and said hello. We had a two bedroom suite and it was ideal for our family of five. The pool was never too crowded and plenty of space on the beach. The best part was a man named Samuel who works at the beach/pool hut. If you go there ask for him! He was really exceptional! He helped us every day get chairs, book fishing and snorkeling, and get us wait service on the beach. He made us feel be able to relax on our trip. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful location. Wonderful units, apparently personally owned. Stayed in a 1 BR partial ocean view and we had a wonderful screened lanai to sit and watch the beach and water on. Could have been better stocked with items in the kitchen, but still a very nice property at the end of grace bay.

Stayed in two bedroom oceanfront, which we thought would mean you are looking at the beach and ocean very near off of your balcony. However we were in building 4 set back and actually looking down at Hemingways restaurant with beach beyond that. A little disappointing. Our lunch at Hemingways was average to below average. Enjoyed managers reception with drinks and snacks poolside. Room is big and comfortable but maybe in need of a little updating.

Our family of five (two adults, kids age 13, 11 and 8) stayed at the Sands for the sixth time for ten nights. The resort is located on one of the best stretches of Grace Bay where the beach is particularly wide with no other resorts directly adjacent. The grounds and pools are impeccably maintained. There are usually only a few families with kids, the adults tend to relax near the two smaller pools and canals. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We stayed in a ground floor room for the first time and actually appreciated the easy access to the pool and beach. The room is spacious and easily accommodated our family. We had a rental car for our entire stay to explore other parts of the island. We were a bit disappointed with our room as it was not to the standard we have come to expect. A few amenities we’ve had during past stays were not provided, no robes or slippers, no laundry basket in the room. In addition, some of the furniture was scratched or had ripped upholstery. The Sands overall provides excellent value in a great location. We will be back again next year.…

The Sands is a very special resort that we love! It has been a fabulous relaxing escape from our busy NY life for many years. From the low key atmosphere to the beautiful beach 🏖️ We usually go in Dec.and back again during the Winter season. But might try the summer too ! From the moment you arrive the attentive service begins. From the front desk check-in crew to Oral who will help escort you to your room. The Manager Ms. Barbara Rigby is always ready to address your every need. She is not only amazing as a business manager, but she is also a caring and thoughtful person. This behavior spreads throughout the resort. We love the comfortable rooms with garden and oceanfront views. We have been in the suites with kitchenettes and the full kitchens. They are especially nice because the Graceway Gourmet is just a quick taxi down the road! You can stock up on all kinds of great snacks etc! The grounds are tended by a lovely man and his crew. The gardens are flawless and all so very beautiful :) The beach 🏖️ is so serene. We are always so happy to see the helpful crew that set up chairs and umbrellas. If you need any activities booked for you Delroy is always there to help. When he is in charge there are no worries on the beach 🏖️ he may also be found keeping the pool in tip top shape! The pool areas are great ! If you have little ones there is a pool for them. Or, if you want adult privacy there are many alcoves spread throughout the resort. For dinner I highly recommend Hemingways . The chef Alix's gourmet menu is equal to any NYC restaurant! Carolyn in the evenings is so pleasant and runs the dining area with great efficiency. If you are lucky enough to spend a birthday 🎉 there the staff are very talented singers ! During season we recommend the surf and turf is fantastic as well as the conch fritters and there fresh fish our favorites! I must mention Wes at the bar too ! so attentive and always has lots of special drink suggestions, as well as just being a very nice guy ! Beautiful beach, great location. Small rooms. The property is a little run down. Kitchen faucet is rickety. Housekeeping is less than desirable - left coffee in the coffee pot yet cleared the cups, did not fill toiletries. Great and friendly staff. Restaurant service is lacking.

Is our 3rd time in T&C Usually we go to the Palms (their big sister) This time was all booked and we opted for The Sands ❤️ Everyone is on point from the concierge to the Restaurant. Booked a year ago April for this February thru booking.com Never saw a confirmation from them until the sands asked for it and it showed no category of rooms on it. Then were given the worst room, literally 30 feet from the lobby on top on the parking lot. I have never booked a garden view room ever, but my confirmation didn’t say the category which the Sands said was strange. After $6750 for our 2 bedroom crummy room they ungraded us gif $40/night to a much better room , especially after I found a women’s disposable shaver on the bathroom floor behind the door. Do not book thru booking . com. No way to contact them at all. The building # 4 was very nice with a pretty view of the ocean. Building 6 is the best for views.

My girlfriend and I just came back from 6 wonderful nights at The Sands at Grace Bay. This resort has everything you need for a laid back, relaxing vacation enjoying the beach and pools. From our check in with Nicole, to our daily encounters with the always helpful Meshell, to the friendliest and most accommodating bellhop Oral, the service at The Sands was top notch. We stayed in a two-bedroom/two-bathroom suite in building 5 with an ocean view and a large screened in porch overlooking the immaculate grounds. Our room was completely updated with all the amenities we needed. Rooms were cleaned daily by the lovely housekeeping staff. Easy walk to the restaurant (which we absolutely loved and I will review separately), beach, downtown shopping area, and other restaurants/resorts such as Grace's Cottage and Bay Bistro which are within a 5 min. walk from The Sands. You need to get out early on the beach to reserve your spot - the guys on the beach are super helpful getting you set up for the day with towels and umbrellas. We spent lots of time at the pool near the restaurant; it's great to come off the beach for a cool down in the well-maintained, large pool. It was great to have a convenient store/gift shop right on the premises for water and souvenirs. Also - there is never a wait for taxis if you need one because many park at The Sands waiting for riders. We also utilized the shuttle to sister properties The Palms and The Shore Club just to get a change of scenery and have lunch. We loved everything about The Sands, the staff and accommodations and would recommend to anyone. We can't wait to return to the lovely island of Provo, Grace Bay and The Sands!!!…
