Club Med Turkoise in Turks & Caicos offers a vibrant beachfront experience, often praised for its picturesque setting and diverse range of activities. While the resort's atmosphere and cleanliness receive positive remarks, opinions on value are split, with some guests appreciating the inclusions and others pointing out additional costs and the need for updates.
The rooms are commonly highlighted as needing a refresh, and while the staff is celebrated for their dedication, service inconsistencies, particularly at the bar and reception, have been noted by guests.

Detailed Reviews
My friend and I stayed for a week at the Club Med Turkoise location and were absolutely delighted with the location and the quality of the staff.
The location is right up against a pristine beach that was never crowded and had plenty of space to lounge around and enjoy the sun. The beach faced west so sunsets were beautiful and everyone gathered at the Sharkies bar to watch them while enjoying a drink and some food.
Although the view was more than enough for us the staff there makes sure that you never run out of things to do during the day, whether it be snorkeling, paddle boarding, sailing or scuba diving. Everyone we met there was extremely friendly and would sit down with us to talk about our stay and provide any accommodations needed. Some of the staff that really stood out to us were: Tyler, Dom, Noa, Sydney, Salome, Drew(bartender) and I’m sure there are more. Everyone that worked there seems like they genuinely love their job and made us feel welcome at the resort.
Dinner at the restaurant was great with different culinary themes every night from seafood night to Italian night. It was awesome getting to see the staff that you get to know perform in the trapeze and dance routines that they put on at night, and then getting to hangout and drink at the bar with them later.
Tyler, Dom and Noa were so nice and accommodating we are so thankful for everything they did to make our stay better, love you guys.
Without a doubt would come back our stay was excellent!

I’ve been to Club Med Turkoise many times over the last 20 years, and almost all of the G.O teams have been great, but the one there January 17-25, 2020 was definitely in the top two!
The main bar team was phenomenal! Drew, Jeremy, Marc and Fred made it feel more like we were at our local spot, rather than an all-inclusive resort. They always had a smile and made great conversation while they were pouring our poisons of choice, and we rarely had to wait to get served. It is always great to see Alex & Macken during the day with their infectious smiles and unparalleled mixology skills. If you happen to catch Douglas behind the bar, definitely treat yourself to one of his island-famous mojitos; I promise you will not be disappointed!
We were there for the NFL playoffs again. Last year, they showed the games, but had no audio, except for the Patriots game, and that was in French. This year they had the actual CBS & FOX feeds, including audio!
The land and water sports teams were both very engaging, which always makes the trip better.
The refreshed rooms were nice, with windows that actually open and tablets that allowed you to make local and international calls for free.
The food in the main restaurant was on point, especially when they had king crab legs one Friday night and Alaskan snow crabs another! They’ve also increased the gelato flavors to eight options, versus the four they offered each night last January.
The Sharkies dinner was delicious and in a beautiful setting, but you have to get there early to sign up and you’ll definitely want to wear bug spray!
The foam party on Friday was great fun and I was happy to see they now offer a few pool floats all week long.
The beach is still just as amazing as it was 20 years ago; the whitest, cleanest powder I’ve ever seen.
Overall it was a great trip. Can’t wait for next year!

The location is top notch. One of the first resorts on Provo, Club Med has a prime spot on Grace Bay, which really did live up to the pictures.
It is not necessarily a typical resort. I really found it was out of the box. Yes there are premium drinks and wine tasting, that comes with a push on guests to buy them. However, if you are not at Club Med for the add ons, there is a lot to do with what you have paid for, and I would suggest you stick with it.
The atmosphere was fantastic. We were never sitting around bored, unless we wanted to sit around by the beach. From sailing, paddle boarding, kayaking, yoga, fitness, snorkeling and trapeze, the activities included were impressive.
The food at the buffet was very fresh, and mostly healthy. We were never left hungry. There wasn't always a ton of options, however we were impressed that most dishes were not repeated during our stay.
We loved that the staff, even after working a long day, joined in on the fun at the end of the night. The theme nights are great. Just get drunk and join in on the line dances. Thank you Aaron for putting the extra effort in to make our trip more memorable. Aaron had just started, and we really felt he was a fantastic asset to your team.
Suggestion:
The buffet can get a little chaotic, especially for seating (particularly outside). I found that often the employees outside were hesitant to 'seat' a table, as they were unaware if the previous guests had left or were just getting more food. I think if you had a double sided card on the table that could be flipped by guests once they are done, (similar to the card you have for baggage when guests are departing) this could improve efficiency.
The beach chairs are a bit of an issue. If you're not an early riser you are probably not going to get a beach chair under the shade.

I just returned home yesterday and I had an amazing time! I didn't know what to expect due to the pandemic going on but everyone from the time we exited the plane to the resort made you feel safe. When I arrived the greeters knew it was my birthday which made me feel very special. (it's the little things that count). You will be asked to sanitize your hands and there is an tablet that will take your temperature and also advise if you are not wearing a mask which is required. Check-in was a smooth and easy the only thing I wasn't aware of you are required to leave a credit card with a $500 hold. This was my first time visiting a Club Med so their time is an hour ahead which takes a little to get use to especially if you've been drinking a lot. My room was on the top floor and it was a basic resort room although, I would like to suggest a microware be add for late night snacks. There are only 2 places to dine at. The main restaurant is buffet style and Sharky's which is more of snack foods. To me the food was mediocre and I chose to venture out for a few meals. There is entertainment every night and I have to commend the employees for all they do in a days work. They all wear many hats to make the GM's (guest) happy! There is also live entertainment at Sharky's and its the perfect view for sunset. Something I could never get use to seeing! There are plenty of activities included to keep yourself busy or you can just lounge at the beach or the pool (closer to the bar). I want to say THANK YOU to the staff of for helping me celebrate my birthday! and a SPECIAL THANK YOU TO Lizet and Pamela (bartenders) in the restaurant Maria and Kawai. The DJ's TK and DJP for keeping the crowds dancing and Meghan from the boutique. I'm sorry I know I am missing some more names.

We just spent a week at Club Med and had an amazing time. The staff are exceptional and we’ve never seen such an incredible manager as Julien. The guy is fantastic! He was everywhere helping out his staff and guests. He was involved with the evening entertainment, helped lug cases to the bus at the end of our trip, greeted guests regularly and publicly acknowledged his amazing team. The water sports team at the beach were excellent also. We had a great time participating in the Regatta and highly recommend everyone to take a quick sailing lesson and do that event. Thanks to Big D, Emily, Alexis, Boris and Rodrigo for being so helpful. Also, Fred at the bar was so helpful, great and always smiling, as well as Drew who is also a pro at the bar. We really enjoyed our lunch and chats with Keira who was always so cheery and happy to help.
The evening entertainment is exceptional and Lance from Missouri was so friendly and absolutely incredible with his performances. Thanks for the amazing evening shows. They are 5* for sure.
We can totally recommend seeing Rachel who organized the best excursion on a catamaran out to snorkel on the reef and then a trip to iguana island to have a bbq lunch and see the iguanas.
Overall we had a fantastic time and will definitely be back. Our only suggestion would be to put some sort of felt pads on the chairs in the rooms to stop the screeching from the rooms above. It’s really really loud. Also, if you want to get a sun-bed under a cabana you need to get up super early to secure a spot with your towel. This seems to be a universal situation wherever you go in the world 😃 Thanks for a great week. All the staff are exceptional, the food was delicious and we hope to be back again soon.

This was my first time at a Club Med. I don't know if it they all have genuinely warm & welcoming staff, but Turkoise did! Everyone says hello and smiles at you from GO's to others. John (sports), Megan (circus), Dani & Mario (tennis), Beatrice & Zohra & Monica (food services), Rafael & the female choreographer (entertainment), Jenny & Guillermo (reception & entry), and Christin (fitness) all made my stay so uplifting. A couple of the local workers handing out beach towels were clearly not happy to be at their job, but there was one shorter lady (who didn't speak English) that was always happy. The housekeeper, for our room Manifrise (sp?!) was friendly and helpful. Sea activities were limited some days because of the weather. The lovely yoga teacher for the week taught the most relaxing classes each day. Deepali was really gifted and knowledgeable. I enjoyed the AM class on the deck, which was always at capacity. The PM class was a little noisy because of location, but she did her best to move us over next to the trapeze. Bring mosquito spray as you will get bit, and the spray is overpriced in the resort shop. This is understandable since it is an island, but still, be aware & pack it! I attended most of the shows at night. They are amateur but that's expected as they're put on by the same staff that works at other positions. Because of this, I actually found the shows to be charming. The resort had a variety of delicious food in the main restaurant. I appreciated the fresh juices, quality cheese, professional desserts, fish entrees, salad choices, pizza, and more!
Now for my recommendations to this resort. Please have laundry and housekeeping do a better job with hair removal. Multiple hairs on bath towels, wash cloths, and on the room floor upon entry. Pool chairs were always covered with guests' towels so that we were only able to sit on them once the whole week. I feel that by adding a pool attendant, seats would not be saved for hours and days by the same thoughtless guests. Same for the cabanas. We were only able to find an available one to sit under once that week. I won't take off in the rating for these as I believe everyone deserves a chance to be informed of issues and then work to better them.
I appreciated this resort being adults-only. Most were on average 50 years old, but ranged from 30s-60s, majority Canadians/French-Canadians. I can imagine this resort's peak was during the 80s and 90s. It is older, but they maintain it. I had the best nights of sleep there as the bedding and pillows are among the most comfortable I've ever slept on on vacation. Keep up the great work, Club Med Turkoise! Your energy and effort was greatly appreciated!

We took our 20 year old granddaughter for Scuba certification. The Seafari team are the BEST: professional, attentive, safe and thorough. She did the on line part at home so completed her certification in 2.5 days!
We went on the boat with her the first day, very fun, specially trained scuba Doc on board, we were impressed. Special kudos to Adon, we felt safe with her in his hands.
The downside of coming in January is the unpredictable weather. We never got to snorkel and only got to sail and SUP one time. Our granddaughter wanted to continue to the next level of certification but weather ended that: Disappointed.
The staff are all exceptional. Tons of exercise classes and fun shows. The circus team is outstanding. Special thanks to Sydney in Excusions, Boris is a great hobie sailing teacher, Kiera for the aqua fitness, Lance is great and looks like a professional dancer, sunset yoga great. The guests are all friendly, beautiful beach, many guests have repeatedly returned.
Many thanks to Chef Michael and Chef Jackson: every night they prepared a delicious special dinner for my restricted diet.
Club Med needs to fix up the gym it’s really bad: NO Recumbant Bike, dirty, mats dirty, no lighter weights, bikes old and clunky, noisy poor treadmills: SHAME on you!!!

Club Med has been our go-to vacation choice since the 1980s, with Turkoise near the top of our favorites list. We arrived only one week after the resort reopened, following several postponements due to the pandemic. The resort was somewhere between 20 and 35% occupied during out visit, which made it feel quieter than usual, but took nothing away from our enjoyment.
Under the friendly and professional leadership of Francis Lacoste, it was clear that the entire staff was taking all necessary steps to ensure our enjoyment and safety. Masking, distancing, hand sanitizer dispensers, and temperature scanners were the norm, and if a guest happened to forget her mask, a staffer would gently remind. Chef Sebastian was ever present to greet us as we entered the dining room, happy to receive any comments or concerns. The quality, presentation and creativity of the foods offered was much improved from our September 2019 visit. No more reaching into the bread basket or scooping one's own entrees. Instead, to protect everyone, the chefs or staff plated the food and handed it through a plexiglass shield. The serving portions were smaller, but those who wanted more could certainly return for seconds. When we voiced a concern about the quality of food provided on the scuba boat after our first day out diving, Chef Sebastian asked what we would prefer and quickly saw that the offerings were elevated. By day 3, the hungry divers were treated to fresh fruit, croissant or wrap sandwiches, and cookies, between dives.
Over a three-week visit, we enjoyed 43 dives between the two of us. We had such a good time with friends on the Seafari Scuba team, Manager Khinda, with Lucas and Pierre, alternating as our guides, and boat captains Mary Jo and Clyde. We commend them for their hard work, guidance and good humor. The team strikes the perfect balance of keeping everyone safe and sharing their enthusiasm for the wonders of the sea and its creatures. Each of them is highly capable and kind.
Friendly smiles shone behind the masks and in the cheerful voices of so many with whom we chatted around the club. Friendly Alex at the main bar, Maria and Richard in the dining room, charming servers Trova and Alaska, talented dancer and #2 in charge Fernando, Reservations Mgr Javier (who aced our room request and vacation extension), and Rodolfo in Excursions, whom we last knew at Columbus Isle in Massage. With everyone just getting back to work, it looked like they were as happy to be working as we were to be there playing!
Bottom line, it's the friendships we make with the Club Med staff that make us return again and again. We are very grateful for their kindness and can't wait to book another visit.

There is not much to not like about Club Med Turkoise which is why we and many other people have come back so many times. Changes are however in the works with the planning of a new higher end building, movement of some facilities and more fee paid services. While there is profit pressure with rising costs, Club Med needs to walk a fine line and make some tough choices as there are other vacation options which may get more and more appealing as Club Med prices increase.
Grace Bay beach is fantastic and the club’s atmosphere is positive and guest driven, the guest rooms and some facilities are more “camp” like and can not compete with other “ all inclusive “ resorts which may not have the Club Med vibe.
Covid measurements are still in place and testing is offered onsite but at this point the virus can no longer be used as an excuse to drop service levels and activities. Evening entertainment is unfortunately lacking while it used to be a main draw. Crazy signs, which made Club Med famous is either a sporadic 1-2 songs or non existent. Room cleaning does no longer seem to daily and we, and others, experienced no service or missing necessities like towels.
The dining service still is buffet style but plating is done by staff and no longer by guests. This works well and the food is good with many options. Ordering at the bar requires people the wear a face masks.
We enjoyed it and plan to come again but some of our friends are starting to question whether it is “ worth it “ as prices have risen sharply and expect to continue to go up.
Some of the staff requires acknowledgement as they go beyond normal requirements and are a pleasure to deal with. For this year, applause for Mario at tennis for creating a positive atmosphere with good instructions, Alex at the main bar who makes the best cappuccino and is just a very nice and polite guy, and Bernadette who is at Turkoise for 18 years and takes care of the facilities around the main bar, pool and reception and we are talking major dedication with a can do attitude.

My husband and I travelled to Turkoise for a Caribbean break on our honeymoon through winter in the USA & Canada. This resort was lovely and clean, we really enjoyed the spreadout feel. There are no high rise buildings packed with rooms so you don't feel all squished in. The rooms are large and clean. The food overall was pretty good. The GOs are fun and energetic. Our favourite staff member was Fred! He was our bartender and if you scroll through a few more reviews you will see his name come up a fair few times and you better believe the hype! He is the kind of bartender that will have a chat with you, who will remember your order and just bring it to you when you don't think that he has even seen you waiting at the bar yet.
Now for the not so nice - the staff in the main bar during the day tend to be more preoccupied with serving their friends and other staff members than the guests. The servers in the Grace Bay Restaurant do not seem interested in clearing tables or resetting them during the service so if you prefer to go for a late lunch or dinner, you will be searching for a clean table. It is a mission to get a sunlounger by the pool or a cabana on the beach. Guests have a habit of leaving towels throughout the resort to claim these spaces for themselves even if they don't intend to be there. I'm not saying their in the pool or in the sea, they're not about at all and if you decide to sleep in to say 9am, you will not find a cabana on the beach nor will you find two chairs by the pool together.
We still had a good stay even with these frustrations, and we will go to other Club Med resorts. I'd like to come back to Turkoise but it's a little far from Australia! Haha

There is a nightly show put on by the staff. There is a bar scene at night. I did not leave the property
Night life is different every night, always a great party! Goes until 1-2 am. Pyrotechnics, great djs, the GO team makes sure everyone is having fun and dancing and our experience was everyone was very friendly and we met a lot of people! There is a nightclub called Aziza lounge probably like 10 min walk away from resort.
