We had the opportunity to stay at Wymara Villas at a beautiful 4 bedroom getaway to celebrate our girlfriend turning 40! And it was epic. The privacy and service were unmatched. Bing was our Villa Manager and she took care of every detail! She had the fridge stocked and coordinating our reservations and activities. Free breakfast every morning was a nice touch to get our day going. And the sport complex allowed some of our friends to get moving (thank you for golf cart ride to the center Gregory!) If you want to feel like royalty - look no further! And highly recommend the spa! The Provo signature was PERFECTION!
Upon checking in, we were greeted with fresh towels to wipe are sweat from the airport heat and a refreshing drink. Easy check in, staff were very friendly and helpful. One of them even walked us to our room and our luggage were brought up so quick. Room was spacious enough for us both. Plenty of storage/drawers for our stay. Bathroom is considerably on a good size bathroom. Amenities were great with Aesop necessities, which we loved! Our balcony was overlooking the pool and the ocean. Breakfast was also great, there are different varieties everyday. Wendy is a great hostess, she makes you feel like one of the locals, asked what we were doing the rest of the day and told us some great spot to check out. The manager, sorry forgot the name in indigo was great as well. Took his time to go around the table asking how everyone’s doing and how the food is. Day before we leave we had an excursion planned out and wouldn’t be able to make the 5:00 Covid test at the resort, so I inquired at the front desk and spoke to Rica. She was busy checking people in and I wasn’t in a rush and told her I’d come back. When I came back 30-45 mins later, she said we’re able to come at 9:00am to get the test so just in case we come back and can’t make the afternoon, at least we’re rest assured to get in the morning. Amazing staff!!!! They go above and beyond. Also, the staff at the beach who sets up our towels and umbrellas, they were all so great and very friendly. Each time my husband and I needed a kayak or a SUP, they’re ready to set it all up!…
I cannot say enough about our stay at the Wymara T&C. I honestly am not sure about some of the few low reviews that were posted, and peoples expectations and what world they are living in. All I can say it that our experience was just outstanding!!!! In the current state of the world, people should focus on the beauty of what’s around them and not petty nonsense. The hotel is gorgeous and I am so happy that we chose this gem. We were on the fence, did we want bigger or more boutique, and were considering a few that were located more towards town. I’m so happy we went with our first choice! From the moment you walk into the Wymara hotel, your breath is taken away. Rooms are kept immaculately, with turn down service every night. The staff is attentive, and will go above and beyond for their guests. Jeff at the pool was amazing and Wendy at Indigo restaurant’s smile and attitude, should be bottled and sprinkled everywhere. The daily breakfast was delicious with lots of options, and the chef at the egg station served it up with a smile every day. Dinner indigo was first class. Thank you Chef Andrew!!! Front desk is willing to assist in anyway. Yes, you can purchase 20.00 bottle for your water, but every hotel and restaurant charges you for bottled water with your meal. It’s the resort Industry people, what do you expect . Bring your own or use an empty water bottle if you have issues, and stop whining. Focus on the beauty of this hotel and sunsets that will take your breath away. Having traveled throughout the Caribbean, I will say that the beach is probably by far the worlds best. White sand and blue waters. Thank you to the staff at Wymara for one incredible stay! A+++…
On- point. If you want luxe, you’re in the right place. World-class amenities and humans (service). Not one detail missed. From accommodating us last minute, to room and hospitality, this place delivers. 3X’s now- we’ll be back for #4! Love this place!
The Wymara Resort is very beautiful even though very expensive. Not much to do other than enjoy the pool or the beach. The room was very comfortable and they did do daily housekeeping and provided clean towels and a requested blanket.
Overall: Have stayed at some of the world’s top tropical resorts of all brands. At the price, Wymara is a failure in quality and service with a few positives. Property and service: Easy location from the airport but does feel as if you’re just dropped off roadside with the hotel on top of the street. The front desk is minimal and there is no “entry” experience. A welcome drink was handed to us - almost begrudgingly - and the first notable feature was a branded water bottle one could buy for $20. Pool is right there and the overall arrival impact was one of mediocrity and a small venue. The beach is, no doubt, gorgeous and the main attraction of any location at TCI but we’re not reviewing the beach - we’re reviewing the hotel. Sadly, was always finding abandoned barware and random, small hotel trash in corners of the pool and grounds. Biggest note - service and staff who seemed almost annoyed to be there. With few exceptions (a waiter here and there, a few nice housekeepers, the managers and the chef), most staff encountered were hardly pleasant and offered none of the hospitality mentality one would hope. Beach chair attendants almost appeared angry and, at one point, I watched the Zest bartender argue with a server in front of me about my order. Management - take note and visit other properties - you need some MAJOR hospitality training in even basic pleasantries like “good morning” and “thank you”. For the price point it’s almost appalling. With no frame of reference to what you SHOULD be getting for this price, one might find it awesome but, having traveled to other, more amazing, resorts, the value just isn't here. Room: Fine. Great view of beach and relatively comfortable. All-in-all, though, had no personality and was an improved Hampton Inn style. Odd choice for towel rack in bathroom almost always hit one in the head and not sure why our minibar included a large salad bowl. Bedside lights were incredibly bright LED’s. Nightly turndown amenity was always the same and became tired. I shaved first morning and noted that the sink was never thoroughly cleaned after that. Other tacky feature - a card explaining that if I forgot anything I could purchase it at the front desk - with accompanying prices. A $5 hair tie? Just kind of a lowbrow approach to trying to be a high-end property. Food: Highlight is the Indigo restaurant dinner which was DELICIOUS. Note: don’t lose your chef as he is a major asset. Dinner was great and served expeditiously (maybe too-so?). Breakfast at same location was, however, a disappointment. Cheap fruit (melon and pineapple) and basic cereal dispenser. Essentially what you’d find at a highway-side Hilton Garden Inn. No variety and every day was same. We did the Wednesday night beach fish fry which was tasty (see great chef above) but…very poorly-executed. Gorgeous setting on white-sand beach but had only one seating - food served “promptly at 7:30”. This meant a large group sitting at tables and then - all at once - standing in a long line for a buffet. Seeing that it rained often (it is the Caribbean), I asked when making the reservation what the rain plan was and was told, they’d seat people in the nearby pavilion. While there was a modest tent, about 50% of the tables were in the sand. At the dinner, I again asked a server what would happened if it started raining and he had no idea - “I hope it doesn’t”. Not quite the best answer for $100/person. Alas, as soon as we had food, the skies opened up and it was as if they had never hosted this event and suddenly half the guests hurried in to sit with random strangers under the tent. Basically chaos and, again, not appropriate planning from a “luxury” property. Lastly, ordered a veggie burger one night and it arrived with the delicious fries but covered in bacon?! Why? Writing this and home, I am increasingly unhappy with this trip and can’t recommend this hotel. Too many failures that could have been fixed with some better management. Blue water alone can’t compensate and, for the cost, go elsewhere.…
We stayed here in February for a week and liked it so much we flew back for 3 nights last week (April). What a great experience! Fabulous food and spectacular drinks. Service was wonderful. I loved that Gerald went around looking for issues and making sure everyone at the resort was happy. Cons... The gym was pretty good although it had a moldy smell to it. The spa was good, but very expensive like everywhere at Turks but I suspect that makes sure there are plenty of openings so guests are served. Rooms were beautiful, beds fabulous, bathroom very nice. Don't miss the beach BBQ's, we only did the Texas BBQ and the food was incredible! Beach beyond words with service by the call of your button!
We were incredibly impressed with Wymara from start to finish. It wasn’t cheap, but we felt like we got exactly what we paid for and then some and it was worth every penny. A true luxury experience and the perfect romantic getaway for my girlfriend and me, it was tough to find anything to complain about. Evenson at the front desk was friendly and helpful with anything we needed, and we had great experiences with the Concierge and beach staff as well. The Concierge was super knowledgeable with restaurants and helped us make several evening-of reservations. Some of other things that set the Wymara apart for us: the location is GREAT, it is still in the fun/exciting area of Providenciales (Grace Bay) but is in a much less dense area of the beach, a bit west of the strip where dozens of resorts crowd the beach one after the next... so it feels more private for sure. The beach service was unparalleled to anything I’ve experienced before, and the all the best food we had on the island came from the Wymara’s restuarants: Indigo for dinner and Zest for lunch. To top it all off, the Wymara hosts their own version of the local Fish Fry on Wednesday nights, and that was an incredible experience. We also loved that the resort was mostly adults… there were some families, but overall it was an adult vibe which is exactly what we were looking for and different than some of the other resorts, at least from what we saw. The room was amazing, even the “partial ocean view” room we stayed in had a huge balcony with at least 90 degrees of breathtaking ocean view, and was very clean and had a number of high end touches (dyson hair dryer, electronic blackout blinds, ceiling/rainfall shower head, kitchenette). We will absolutely be back.…
We really enjoyed Wymara! The accommodations are very nice. The view from our beachfront 2 bedroom suite was beautiful. The location on Grace Bay is perfect. The beach was very nice and clean with soft sand and easy swimming /snorkeling right off the shoreline. The walkability to snorkeling areas like Coral Gardens and Smith Reef was a bonus. The concierges were excellent; always prompt, polite, and thorough. The waitstaff at the restaurant and housekeeping were great. The staff made a point to know who we were and what we preferred to eat and drink etc. We spoke with a number of employees who have worked there for 8-10 years and longer because they love it and are treated well. On-site food and beverages were top-notch. We had the included breakfast buffet each morning and lunch at Zest on the beach every day. We ate at Indigo, their onsite dinner restaurant 3 times. We loved the size of the resort and that it did not feel overcrowded. It is well maintained and beautiful. To be critically honest, I believe they were a little short-staffed around the pool at the time we visited, as there were not always clean towels available to dry off with, the water containers were empty several times and I often had to wait to find someone to help me. Once I had someone's attention, they were always pleasant, responsive, and patient. Overall we had a great vacation and would definitely return and recommend it. Hope this provides some useful information!…
My husband and I just came home from an amazing stay at Wymara. The setting, service and accommodations were superlative. Overall, the staff was exceptional. Rica was warm and welcoming at the beginning and gave us a friendly send off at the end. Arnold, the restaurant manager was always very helpful and professional. A special shout-out to “my girl” Wendy, whose joyful ebullience always made each day more fun. Her knowledge and suggestions were very much appreciated.
