Dream Gobi camp was a true delight. The camp has both the traditional Gers, and newereones with an attached en-suite bathroom. For people our age (82) we strongly recommend the en-suite option. No sense stumbling around at night going to the bathroom. We stayed two nights at the camp and found it a good location for excursions out into the desert (steppe). The food at the camp was very good and plentiful. Highly recommended.

I have stayed here several times. Its near everything you want to see...red cliffs, Lamergiers, camels, horses, nomads, goat milking, the lot. Wonderful big skies and stars galore. Best of all are the Canadian en suite bathrooms with hot showers. Cuisine is excellent and digestible for westerners, while retaining Mongolian flair. Has a kitchen garden and excellent chef.

I was so impressed with how clean the gers were and most importantly the communal room. The food was gourmet quality and the whole staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Great to see smiling faces each and every time you encountered any of the staff.

Yes, Dream Gobi has gers with en suite bathrooms. They are basic and there is not always enough water to flush. Wait a few minutes and then you can. The food was adequate. Beer cheap. We stayed there 3 nights. I brought my silk sheet (Cocoon) & I am glad I did. Every morning I woke up to bugs on the sheet. The final morning, as we were packing to leave, we counted 6 mice running on top up and around our bed. The seemed to scramble under the bed and, perhaps, live in the box springs? Don't know what I would have done if I had to stay another night. The lights outside the gers were motion activated. I woke up several time and went outside to see the stars without light pollution. Unfortunately I couldn't because the lights came on. Others in our group had mice problems too.

Room Tip: Ger 7 is closest to the camp fire and the lodge. Very noisey & has mice.

The main lodge is very inviting with a bar set in the center which is surrounded by the eating area. The food is outstanding and the pineapple pizza is some of the best I have ever had. The gers are very comfortable with plenty of room with a adjoining bathroom with a excellent shower. The surrounds are beautiful with camels, goats, and horses roaming freely.
