It was Sturgis week and Harleys were everywhere. We needed a place to stay and Greybull is not near a major city. After calling around we were directed to Maid Marions B&B. I love B&Bs and this on was no exception. The grounds were lovely and flower filled. The home's exterior is quaint with a lovely front porch for sitting on. Our room was a nice size with a/c. Bed and linens were great! We did have to share a large bathroom but it was never a problem. The towels were nice and fluffy and toiletries were provided.
Breakfast outside in the back courtyard was wonderful with fresh fruit, waffles and more.
The owners made us feel like family.
Cottage was cozy and comfortable. We got fruit, muffins and cookies on the first of our 3 night stay. They added a second window ac unit on our second night which was nice.(there is one small window unit in the living room.) It got warm during the day, but the nights were comfortable. We would definitely stay with Marian again.
I stayed at Maid Marian’s for one night to break up a driving trip between Rapid City, SD, and Jackson, WY. Everything was fine, and I had a good rest. The owners are very personable and were happy to give advice about where to find a good dinner. I would recommend this B&B.
I chose to stay in the Nellie Cottage--a separate little cottage apart from the main home--because I desire a private bathroom and do not place importance on eating a gourmet breakfast. Instead of the morning meal there was a good supply of fruit, yogurt and breakfast bars for the taking. These came in very handy during my long drive the following day. Thanks!
One note: this property borders North 6th Street, which is Routes US-14/US-20/WY-789, i.e., the “main drag” through town. Thus, there is a bit of street noise from trucks and motorcycles. Fortunately the traffic dies down late at night, but a large vehicle will roll through from time to time. The cottage has a bedroom that is farther from the street, so I chose that one. Everything there was adequately comfortable for me.
This place has everything you could hope for in a bed & breakfast. Wonderful hosts, clean, comfortable room and a delicious breakfast.
We stayed in Nathalie's room. It was very cozy and close to the shared bathroom. The house has such a nice atmosphere and the front yard is so beautiful and inviting.
Breakfast was served on the front porch. It was such a wonderful touch with fresh fruit, strong coffee, sausage and waffles.
I was also very happy to have a chance to meet the family dog, Penny. She was so sweet!
Overall, Marian and her husband made us feel at home. This b&b was perfect and conveniently located on our way to Yellowstone.
What could we say about Maid Marian's B&B ? We stayed in the cottage nearby the house, for (only) one night. Yummy brownies, and even a bottle of wine were awaiting our arrival !
Little John warmly welcomed us and showed us the place : two bedrooms, very comfortable, a nice dining/kitchen area, and a shared bathroom. Plus a deck with a gas BBQ.
The stay was pleasant, Marian brought the breakfast on the morning. A recommended place !
