My wife and I visited this wonderful inn as a summer getaway. Check in was easy as we were warmly welcomed by innkeepers Emily and Michael. We opted for a room in the rear of the inn so it would be as quiet as possible. (it was). Our room was tastefully furnished and the bed was very comfortable. The room was not large, but there is plenty of room in other areas of the inn to rest, relax and read. The room AC is a mini split type and is ultra quiet- sometimes it was hard to know it was on.
The inn itself has plenty of quiet areas to read, including an upstairs reading area with plenty of books to choose from. It also has an outside pool, indoor sauna, covered outdoor hot tub and a small exercise room.
The inn has a tavern area and full restaurant. The restaurant is closed Monday and Tuesday in the summer.
Breakfast is included, and it is made to order by Michael. This is a made to order breakfast with a wide assortment of items that change daily. Everything tasted great.
We enjoyed sitting on the front lawn enjoying the view. It doesn't get any better.

I stayed with a group of 18 friends at this charming country inn. The owners, Michael and Emily were very welcoming and cordial. They were flexible to start breakfast early for our group on Saturday so that we could get to Killington for first tracks. The dining room was spacious and comfortable, and the food of course has to be good at a country inn, but the food was outstanding. There was a great variety of simple dishes with great flavor and more eclectic offerings that were good portions of tasty creations and reasonably priced. There were a number of sitting areas in the common space where our friends could congregate over wine and cheese, or cookies and hot chocolate. The guest rooms were immaculate, comfortably and tastefully furnished as you would expect at a charming country inn. I think the greatest compliment I can extend is that the staff made our group feel like this was OUR home, which is the best kind of experience you can have!

Kate, daughter Penny, husband Neil, granddaughter Nora (3.5) and myself, enjoyed a great holiday at The Inn in Feb'14. Great facilities and fabulous breakfasts. Very surprised by the spacious foyer, lounge/bar and additional t.v. lounge, games room, gym, sauna and external hot tub. This was particularly good, as Neil does not ski so relaxed and took full advantage of this.
Our hosts, Emily and Michael, were always available 24/7 and were most helpful with their local knowledge, with regards to the best local restaurants, ski pass deals, etc,.They were extremely friendly and made use feel totally at home.
We will certainly return to The Vermont Inn, next time we plan to Ski Killington/Pico or as a visit to Vermont for the Fall.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at The Vermont Inn. I don't think you can find a more friendly, welcoming and accommodating staff. Our room - the Manchester Suite - had a comfy king bed, a gas fireplace, and a seating area with a love seat and coffee table. There is a bay window with views of the woods. A full breakfast is included with lots of delicious choices. We also enjoyed the delightful hot tub. You will not be disappointed here.

This place was great! Excellent customer service, Emily was awesome to work with and so helpful! The Inn had a great cozy feel to it, with all the amenities you'd need. There was a very good restaurant, a nice bar, ample lounge areas, a beverage room with coffee and bottled water, and a large fridge to keep your stuff in. The bedroom was small but very comfortable, clean, nice en suite bathroom.

The Inn was about 10 minutes from Pico, and 15 minutes from Killington. Great cell service with Verizon. I didn't try the Wifi but it was complimentary. I will definitely stay here again.
