Never saw such a rose garden, nested in the mountain. The hotel has a great service, lovely local food and beautiful mojitos cocktails ! The spa with indoor swimming pool and jaccuzzi offers the most beautiful massages and facials. Lots of activities to do : we did a tour on electric moutain bikes that was spectacular, and there are horses too. We really had an incredible time there!
Hidden and beautifully camoflaged in the mountains, this hotel does not disappoint.
The rooms are charming and efficiently controlled our temperature; the pools are excellent as they are deep and a good size; the gardens are exceptional!; the staff were not just friendly and helpful but were also good fun. We did not want for anything.
I had read the food was not a highlight but we found portions to be a perfect size and the quality was very food.
If you go for a walk, a GPS is helpful if you go too far 😎.
I would and have already recommended this paradise to others and will be back.
This hotel in Ouirgane is situated in the High Atlas mountains in the heart of the Toubkal National Park at about 1,000 metres (3,300 ft) above sea level. Magnificent gardens welcome the guests to hikes in the premises or in the adjacent old village.
The staff is very friendly, food is ok -not special- and the fireplace in the restaurant and the artwork is great. The room we had, was well appointed and big with a huge bed.
Relax by the pool and enjoy a couple of days away from the big cities.
I spent 5 days here through mixed weather. The gardens were beautiful with the scent of roses in the air. There were pomegranate trees everywhere. The pool was beautiful, cold and refreshing. The food could be better but it was very nice for the duration of my stay. I found it all very relaxing. One thing to watch out for was that treatments need to be booked in advance at the spa. In addition the thermal pool was broken throughout my trip and that was quite disappointing as some days the weather was not hot enough to lie by the pool.
We had the most lovely experience at the Roseraie! The pictures simply do not do this place justice ... imagine blankets and blankets of roses, everywhere you look. It's trulyt difficult to capture the beauty. There are several pools although the main pool was so spectacular, it was hard to leave! Everyone who works there (Hamid especially) was so lovely and kind. We felt very at home and had a lot of fun getting to know them during our stay. Breakfast was more than enough each day (lots of breads, jams, goat cheese, huge fruit plates, coffee, omelettes) and we ate dinner at the hotel each night was was lovely. Since it was the off season, the main dining room was closed so we ate at tables set up poolside and scattered with rose petals ... hilariously romantic for our group of 3 girls traveling together! Dinner each night was very good - several choices of mains, appetizers and desserts for about $30 prix fixe. You MUST visit the hammam - since we had come from Marrakech where we visited a hammam we almost passed this up but I'm so glad we didn't since the spa is gorgeous and the services were absolutely lovely. And affordable!
I'm sure there are other nice places to stay in the Atlas mountains but there cannot be one more beautiful than Domaine de la Roseraie. Highly recommend!
