The gardens at Domaine de la Roseraie were stunningly beautiful and filled the air with an amazing fragrance. We enjoyed just walking around noticing the various types of flowers and plants, while taking way too many pictures along the way! We also enjoyed walking up to the aromatic garden and stables. We were only there for two nights, but enjoyed every minute. Our room was very spacious and well cared for. Breakfast was simple - but good, and huge! Dinners were also quite good. Service was faultless and friendly! I wasn't sure about being in a place that seemed so isolated, but honestly, the property is a destination in itself! Wish I had planned for at least one more night!
This hotel in Ouirgane is situated in the High Atlas mountains in the heart of the Toubkal National Park at about 1,000 metres (3,300 ft) above sea level. Magnificent gardens welcome the guests to hikes in the premises or in the adjacent old village.
The staff is very friendly, food is ok -not special- and the fireplace in the restaurant and the artwork is great. The room we had, was well appointed and big with a huge bed.
Relax by the pool and enjoy a couple of days away from the big cities.
I booked the VIP Hammam, Massage and foot ritual experience for our honeymoon at this hotel. Hands down the best spa experience we have both had ever! The private VIP room was beautiful, with tea and nibbles included. For 3 hours of treatments, this was a bargain for the price.
Despite not staying at the hotel, they welcomed us back a couple days later for dinner. A great ambience with a big open fire for those chilly nights.
The staff here, when you can find someone, is rude. They expect you to do everything. We asked if we could use the phone to call the spa as they were cleaning our room and he said you can walk up there and tell them (5min walk) when he had a phone right next to him that we could have used. Every time we’ve gone for a meal we have had a hard time finding a staff member to seat us. The ‘gardens’ are green, but nothing extravagant. Least favorite spot on our 2 week trip across Morocco.
To put it simply, the hotel is old and run down. There is no life or energy within this hotel which is a shame as it has the potential to be good. I have travelled around the world and this is not a 4-star hotel.
The service is okay but there is no extra effort made towards guests. The food is bland and very basic; it lacks any good flavour.
The spa was a good experience, however, the massage was poor and the women working there lack any education on the anatomy of the human body. The hammam is good.
Bedrooms are old, dusty and the wifi is poor. There are many bugs and spiders in the room. This is normal, however, there are dead insects which means rooms are poorly cleaned.
The hotel needs improving and is certainly lacking love.
