We had an AMAZING 2 days at the Villa. The architecture, interior design, and attention to detail of the villa speak for itself and are all absolutely beautiful. What makes this place so special are the personal touches from Amanda and Joe that render such a unique and personal experience. We really enjoyed hearing their inspiration for the villa and they truly achieved their vision. We LOVED Joe's breakfasts so much, it was one of our favorite parts of the weekend. Amanda had wonderful recommendations after getting to know us over a glass of wine when we first got there. We came away with great memories over sharing coffee, drinks, and breakfasts. We only wish that next time we can join for a dinner at the Barn on Saturday night. We had a lovely fall weekend including touring historical sites, an awesome hike at Huckleberry Point, and taking in all the villa has to offer including the outdoor patio, nonpareil chocolates in the room, and playing scrabble while enjoying wine in the living room! Our room was cozy, clean, and we loved hanging by the fireplace at night. Amanda and Joe are such welcoming, sincere, and gracious hosts that made our stay so special. We have already recommended the Villa to many people and plan to return in the near future :)
Thank you Joe and Amanda for all your hard work creating a truly beautiful villa. Our room had a king bead with exquisite bedding, a gorgeous deluxe bathroom and private walk out patio. The minute you walk in, you start to see all the artesian crafted fine details, too many to list but, the Venetian walls are stunning. The outdoor grounds are just as amazing and lush. Joe prepares a delicious breakfast fresh from local suppliers and shared by all the guests. We had a great time. I never wanted to leave.
We loved our stay at The Villa. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The living room space was large and a great alternative meeting space if traveling with a group. There was an espresso machine out for 24 access to coffee or tea.The two breakfasts we shared were amazing. Joe is a talented chef and the combinations were some of the best breakfast food we ever had- really healthy and yet decadent too! They gifted us with some custom herb blends and recipes to recreate some of Joe's amazing dishes. We hope he comes out with a breakfast cookbook! Our room was small- but with high ceilings. Hardly any space to put our things. The bed was comfortable and temperature controls clear. Only quibble is the piped in music downstairs played all night long and could be heard from our room. The outdoor areas are beautifully landscaped. The pool was closed since it was October , but can imagine that it is beautiful to come there when it is warm and one can enjoy the outdoor gardens.
My boyfriend (now Fiance 🤗) took me to the villa this past weekend to celebrate our anniversary. Not only was the villa absolutely beautiful to behold, but Amanda and Joe were so lovely!
My fiancé had planned some crazy things and Amanda helped him with all of his little surprises. On top of her being the sweetest host, her design aesthetic is just incredible.
We were so inspired by all the beautiful details in every room, from the door handles, to the light fixtures.
We will definitely be coming back and I’ll probably be reaching out to Amanda for design ideas! I’ve already recommended the villa to friends. :)
My husband and I came to the Villa this past weekend and were so completely blown away by the building, the setting and landscaping, our room, the interior design, the delicious food, and above all - Amanda and Joe's hospitality. Everything about our weekend was magical, some of the highlights include: driving and hiking in the area, the incredible breakfast, enjoying coffee in the morning on the balcony and drinks in the evening, checking out the local restaurants, the Barn dinner on Saturday night, and sitting by the pool to read at the Villa. We could not have imagined a more lovely get-away and we can't wait to come back.
