This hotel is just one block off the beach and provides parking for one car per room. It is very basic but not fancy. We had 2 queens and a sofa bed, stove, fridge, and microwave with a small round table. Not much room to move around even though we only had 3 instead of the 4 planned. But it was clean and the owners are lovely people who care for the property and try to please. The pool was clean and refreshing after a day at the beach.

My husband and I stayed at the Sea Chest Motel for five days and four nights. We arrived in Wildwood early and were able to check in to our room early. After reading some of the other reviews, I was a bit nervous about what the room would look like; however, I was delightfully surprised when we walked in. The carpets looked brand new and everything was very clean. We were greeted by the staff, and they were very accommodating to our needs. The room was cleaned every single day, and the staff was there ALL day cleaning and straightening up the property. John and his staff were very personable and did their very best to make our stay with them pleasant. If we were to return to Wildwood, we would definitely stay at the Sea Chest Motel again. You simply can't beat the price and the service!

My wife, kids and I went on vacation, for a week like we do every year, I had a great time, But I burned up all my cell phone data while on vacation at the Sea Chest, (we was attracted to the this motel, because of what it offered) One of the things it offered was free wifi, with kids you need that, so your data bill isn’t through the roof. Well mine is, There wifi dosent work in the rooms, only outside, I brought this concern up to them a few times, and was told a few lines just to shut me up, (at least thats how I felt) Dont get me wrong, the people there are very nice, the deal was affordable, Monday through Thursday night, leave on Friday for $400. But if you advertise free wifi, it should say have a fine print, or a warning that it doesn’t work in the room, or at the rooms near mone it didn’t,

Other than that we had a pleasant stay, the rooms are very clean, and the and the workers are very nice, built in pool, Nice and cold AC, and cable TV.

I would recommend them to a friend,
And if the internet thing gets figured out, I would stay there again.

My girlfriend and I booked a reservation at the Beach Colony Motel several months before our planned trip for the popular Irish Weekend 2018. When we arrived at the Beach Colony, the receptionist advised us that our reservation had been cancelled. She did not explain why, did not offer any solutions and had no more rooms available. We had no place to stay and our entire trip was potentially ruined by her incompetence.
We went down the street to the Sea Chest Motel and were fortunate enough to get the last room in the place. The manager was extremely friendly, accommodating and genuinely happy that we were there. The room was immaculately clean and the whole place really had a “family owned” feel. The manager even visited us at our room with fresh, warm towels and to see how our trip was going.
I would highly recommend the Sea Chest Motel to anyone who is looking to vacation in Wildwood. I am not only saying this because this place saved our trip but also because the high level of customer service present at the Sea Chest Motel is a rare find nowadays.

My parents decided they wanted to go to Wildwood for a weekend a little after I came to the same realization. We had called to a few places, and then found availability at the Sea Chest. We'd never stayed below the boardwalk before, but wow, it's nice down there. We had four adults in a tiny, vintage room that reminded me of the way North Wildwood was when I was a kid. Saturday my wife and I walked along the beach to the boardwalk, then on the boards, and back along the bike path or whatever it is that lines the beach like the boardwalk does in my familiar Wildwood. The proximity to Tony Luke's was great. I'd never gotten a sandwich from their Wildwood location, so I'm glad the sea chest was right where it was.

The owner was always around but never bothersome. He offered restaurant advice to my father, and was very accommodating to any issue that may have arisen. None really did, but I got that feeling in my interactions with him. The pool looked inviting, but I didn't use it.

I paid to park in North Wildwood my first night, but after that, I only walked. There was a concert in Centennial Park, there was a baseball card show. I didn't make it to the North End of the Boardwalk, but I made it to all of the Ride piers. It was a really great location and I can't think of a single complaint.
