The room was really small and the view was great but it was the tiniest window. I was expecting more to be included with the stay than just coffee at the front in the morning. The deck was beautiful and the views from the pool area were great.

This is probably a good choice for most people, but not everyone. They are cabins, so pretty basic, but it's not as if you're staying in a tent. The rooms are small, but large enough for 1-2 people. The bed was good enough and there is a couch, a small TV, a fridge, and a microwave. The shower is really small.
My only issue was that the door to my cabin didn't seem to fit the frame. There were really large gaps both at the top and the bottom of the door, gaps large enough that I had to stuff towels in them once moths started flying into my room.
There is a baseboard heater that produces some heat, but not a lot. I didn't turn it on and by the morning my room was pretty cold, and this was in mid August.
The prices do seem kind of steep considering what you're getting.
The park's location is ideal for entering the park from the west side though.

Our cabin was in dire need of a new mattresses, as the mattress topper was not a fix for a bad mattress. Cabin has basics, not all the items usually expected with a hotel room.

Cabins are tiny with paper thin walls. No coffee in room. Complimentary coffee must be hand served by a barista so you're in for a wait. Restaurant & pool are fantastic. Many young staff seemed to not know who the manager was or if they had the power to make things easier for guests.

The lodge and property were beautifully maintained, with an amazing view of the lake. The restaurant was incredible.
The cabins are historical so don’t expect much room . The bathroom was very difficult to maneuver in.
