Amazing stay with Eduardo and family! When we arrived late at night and Eduardo and his sons (who speak great English) were there to greet us and make sure we knew everything we needed to know for our stay. They helped us get situated, order pizza to be delivered to the room (since we got in late), and made sure we had everything we needed.
The space was great for my husband and I and we were very comfortable there. Great AC and amenities! We also loved having our own cabana all to ourselves. You are not right in Puerto Iguazu (about a 5-10 minute drive), but it is so nice to have such tranquility and really be able to experience Iguazu that way and you will not have to worry about driving anywhere (see the comments below).
What made the experience so great was how genuinely kind Eduardo, Adriana, and their sons were. What made it even more incredible, was Luis. Eduardo arranged our transportation with Luis, a friend of theirs, and was there waiting for us at the airport. For a set price, Luis picked us from the airport, drove us to and from the national park, to dinner, to the Brazilian side, and then back to the airport for a very reasonable price. It was so amazing to have someone so reliable and caring with us. He made sure that we were in good hands everywhere we went and was so prompt, reliable, and amazing to be with on our trip. Long story short, these are good people with good friends; and they really care that you have a positive experience.
We will be referring all of our friends to the Terra Lodge! Muchisimas Gracias!

This lodge is a little off the beaten track but is delightful once you arrive.
We arrived later than expected but our host, Eduardo, was ready to welcome us.
The rooms are wooden chalet type accommodation. They have all that is needed : A reasonably equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. All rooms are air conditioned. We really needed the heater function as it was unseasonably cold. The chalets have wooden floors with what must be an open airspace below them so were really cold.
Eduardo had left us some basic supplies so we could make ourselves breakfast and have warming cups of tea and coffee.
This lodge was all we needed.
Pros: The hosts Adriana and Eduardo exude genuine warmth. It's like going to a cabin and finding out your friends own it. They were very helpful. They organized a driver to take us to the falls on both sides of the border. The driver Luis was professional and on time at every point. Everything went so smoothly. The cabins are even better than the photos. The ceilings were like 14 feet high at points so it feels very spacious. Everything from the furniture to appliances to the beds to the cabin itself is new. Well stocked kitchen. Everything you need is there. They have snacks and drinks on arrival. Air-conditioning in every room. The cabin is well designed and feels like a house. Front porch on each cabin is great to hang out on. Very tranquil location. Lara the housekeeper makes sure everything is clean. Pool is nice to have right outside your door.
Cons: It's far from the town where restaurants and shops are. I wouldn't walk it and I estimate it would take 40mins. There are restaurants that deliver but we just taxied into town. The closest store for snacks is a gas station about a 20 minute walk away. It's a new hotel so some taxi drivers in town don't know where it is but the hosts give you a business card with the address.
I highly recommend you stay here. I only put the cons in because if people want easy foot access to restaurants and bars, this might not be the best place for them. The hosts can order you a taxi for anywhere so it wasn't an issue for us. At the time of this review a one way to town was about 50-70 pesos. We preferred the quiet location and after you see the town you too would also probably prefer a more remote place. We really enjoyed returning to our cabin every night. It's a slice of paradise.
Some well traveled friends recommended us to choose Argentina's Puerto Iguazu if we really wanted to appreciate the wild beauty of the Iguazu Falls. They also suggested staying at one of the gorgeous lodges surrounding town. After doing some search in the net, we ended up at Terra Lodge. We spent a whole week in a comfortable two bedroom cabin. There was an additional sofa bed in the living room. Everything looked neat and brand new. The kitchen had everything we needed in the event we wanted to cook instead of ordering out, which was not often...
Just steps away an inviting swimming pool had us as frequent visitors. It was not only refreshing for our bodies but also for the senses, especially at night when you can listen to the murmur of trees and the exotic plants typical of the region.
This place is profoundly peaceful..It is also yoga friendly. One of the owners is a vivacious and charismatic yoga teacher who is well known in the capital of Argentina. The whole development seeks balance and harmony between nature and man made comfort.
Air conditioning, cable and Wi Fi are good and free.
I strongly recommend this place!!
Me and my five friends from Wisconsin stayed at the Terra Lodge at Port Iguazu in March 2014. The lodge was very accommodating with A/C, spacious living/dining room. The interior was gorgeous with a rustic look of wooded walls and tile floors. It also had access to a swimming pool just across our cabin.Prices are reasonable.
The lodge is only 10 minutes away from the majestic waterfalls. Spent three days seeing all the amazing spots. Went into the boat where we hovered a few feet away from one of the biggest waterfalls. I also went through a river where we traversed through the dense forest of the park seeing amazing flora on both sides.
Lodge management were very friendly and spoke English. I recommend anyone who loves nature to come and visit Port Iguazu at Terra Lodge!
