I stayed her for two wonderful weeks. There are a lot of cool and lovely places in Bali and this is one of them. For me what sets The Pineapple house aside is the people and everything they offer from a smile in the morning served with a beautiful healthy breakfast, to a well thought through day trip, amazing massages to transforming sessions with great lightworkers.
All done with a genuine warmth and care for the guest to have as good a time as possible while experiencing Bali together with great flexibility for your comfort.
My room was gorgeous with an outdoor bathroom making the experience of a shower as close to nature as you can get in a village.
This is a place that I recommend to anyone wanting to experience a heartfelt beautiful place.
All my love to all working at The Pineapple house and I hope to be back (with two working feet) soon.
I went to Bali on a total whim and Pineapple House accommodated me with less than 24 hours notice.
The retreat was everything I needed and more... stunning villa, beautiful bedroom and outdoor bathroom and the yoga was another level. (Careful what class you pick- some are pretty advanced!)
The only downside for me, being a bit of a sun worshipper, is you cant really sit in the sun much at the villa as the loungers are shaded; but the beach isn't far and if you've not got it yet- GoJek is your go to app for getting around (essentially Bali Uber!)
Era and Putu are so lovely and really make you feel like part of the family.. a far more personal experience than other retreats I have been to. I also did a private class with Lucy who introduced me to Yin which opened my eyes as I had never really understood it before.
Having gone through a particularly tough time at home in previous months, all I wanted from Pineapple House was to escape reality for a bit and forget.. what I came away with was far more valuable; mental clarity and positivity, thanks to the incredible support and love shown to me by these beautiful strangers. I will be forever grateful..
This is truly a special place, if you are thinking of going alone- do it. I met some incredible people and I would go back in a heartbeat.
... it is the perfect homely retreat after being “always on the go, doing, doing, doing, ....better and faster” ...
The team arranged for me to be collected from the airport and driven to the Pineapple House. Agus the driver made me feel as I would visit really good friends.
Stepping over the threshold into the open plan garden and living area and two turquoise pools and beautiful areas to relax and enjoy the time.
The vibe was so chilled and my room was gorgeous. A big four poster bed with lots of pillows and my own bathroom… 😍
Planning my day was easy and the surfing and yoga(... and Pilates, Sightseeingtour, Massage, Treatments) was flexible and changing the plans was not complicated at all, which was just what suited me.
Some days I started with a early morning surf, had a nice breakfast, went to a yoga class, lay around the pool or spent some hours by the beach. Others I had a massage and talked about life and the world with Era, who was able to share her knowledge of the tastiest places to eat in the area and the places to watch the sun set. She also showed us to cook traditional meals.... so delicious! Thanks also to Putu who made us the tastiest breakfast every morning!
I would recommend it to anyone looking to do some surf or yoga retreat in Bali .... in fact, I wish I lived there all year round!
I stayed at Pineapple House for a five day surf and yoga retreat and can't recommend it highly enough. The villa itself, and my room, was absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous and comfortable rooms, beautiful pool, incredibly delicious and nutritious breakfasts made my the talented Batu. The surfing was Sunni was terrific, as was the yoga as Desa Seni, but what really makes Pineapple House is the wonderful people that create your experience and tropical home away from home - Agus, Era and Batu. Ever helpful, fun, welcoming and relaxed, thank you for making this such a wonderful holiday! Thank you! Lexi
...to describe how A M A Z I N G my trip to Canggu and my stay at Pineapple house was. It was literally everything that l expected, and beyond. I spent 10 nights at the villa and every single day l felt so good in there. The energy and vibe of Pineapple is unique, one of the main reason of it is the staff:
Angus, my driver is such a funny, kind, always smiley young chap :) who was always ready to take me wherever l wanted and needed to go. And he always has advises available of the coolest places to visit.
Putu, the "maid" of the house is the sweetest! she created varied, healthy, different bfasts for each morning for me and whilst l enjoyed my meal, she made sure my room was clean and my bed made. Me being a mum of 2 small children.. ohh boy how l appreciate the effort which Putu made to make me feel so relaxed.
Sunni, my surf teacher, instead, is a real surf pro! I managed to get up on 3rd try on the board and after a few days of practice, was already hitting some waves! He takes time to explain in detail the techniques and tips. I am so grateful for Sunni that l finally got to reveal one of my dreams, with his patience and sense of humor he made the learning much easier.
Last but not least, l was lucky to meet Era. Era is the villa manager who made my stay feel very special. She was always available to help and find solutions to whatever requests l had. She made me feel very comfortable, easy and if Pineapple was my real home. Her laugh, smile, amazing sense of humor and the time we spent talking about everything like two long-time friends, made this experience unforgettable.
These four staff members made real difference and my trip unforgettable.
I look so much forward to book my next holiday in Bali later this year.
Pineapple and the staff, you guys ROCK!
