Nice Ryad, on the top of the medina, that means many, many starirs to go up and down with suitcases, and the nices view of all.We had the top room, in th eterrace, private for us. Upon arrival, mint tea, like eveywehere else in Morroco, we were takne to our room, then we had magilca experience when we were able to see the call to pray from the our private terrace. That was our first experience in Morroco, nice.
Nice people, very respectufull, nice dinner and excellent breakfasr.
Rooms, are clean, best of us, heated pool reserved for our family, private experience, formidable.
Would go back
Chefchaouen is a small town over the Riff mountain range. Don’t be mistaken with Santorini or Mykonos of Greece because of their white and blue color. The town is so nice and charming with small street. Lina Ryad & Spa is a small hotel with the best location in town. It is located just right at the heart and soul of Chefchaouen and it is really close to the town’ famous step. You just can’t get to the hotel by car because they do not allow you to drive into the small and very narrow street. The hotel will send some one with a small car to pick you and your bag from street outside the town wall. The room is so charming with the Moroccan style. Their is an indoor swimming pool. What I like the most of this hotel is that; you can come down and walk around town until you drop, then get back to the hotel and do the massage at the hotel. Their is a free WIFI and the signal is really good.
The riad was quite lovely. Breakfast was freshly made and tasty. The eggs were prepared the way we like them. We had the haman body scrub. This was our first so I can’t rate it but it was very nice. Would do again. We were on the third floor with no elevator so we got good exercise. The room was nice, the showery was good (no bath tub) and WiFi was good. My one complaint was there was power outage both nights we were there but they only lasted for an hour or two. Survivable. Bring a bathing suit as the pool is heated. By appointment only so it was private.
Lina Ryad is a nice property that is clean and neat with a friendly staff. Our room was a good size and being able to book a private swim in the indoor pool was a delight [although the mountain water was a bit chilly].
Breakfast was huge and fabulous.
A great choice to stay at.
This Riad is absolutely stunning. Right in the center of everything. If you want Instagram pictures then you are within minutes of walking to each. If you want shopping, it’s right in the middle of the souk.
We chose the suite, which we highly recommend. Amazing room with an incredible view.
Wonderful spa, though we didn’t get a chance to use it. We did book the private pool for an hour, which is free by the way.
The breakfast is huge. You can choose your egg, and then they bring you tons of pastries, fruit and yogurt. We couldn’t eat it all.
The service there also stands out above anywhere we have been. They were so helpful! Highly, highly recommend.
One note: this is in the middle of the Medina. We would recommend you calling ahead of time so their porter can meet you at the main road and help you find it.
