I stayed at this place when returning back from Nag Tibba Trekking. The caretaker and cook realized that me and my friend were extremely exhausted and they lit a fire to keep us warm and also gave us hot water bad to ease our sour muscles. We chatted for hours sitting by the fire. Believe me, they are a good company. The food was great. the room was amazing. When we woke up in the morning we were simply mesmerized. we took a short stroll to the ruins and wishing well. This is the best hotel experience I've had inside India. I explored the properly and must say that I'm jealous of the 2 story cottage behind (it's only for the owner). Couples would enjoy the single log cottage.

I’m so glad Karthik ( I hope I got the spelling correct ) that you had a good experience.
Our caretakers are like family to us and the very fact that you connected so well with them , speaks a lot about your kind personality . A compliment coming from trekkers like you mean a lot to us .
Thank you 😊, and looking forward to see you again

This place has a lovely wooden chalet like a swiss cottage- it smells of wonderful pine and deodar wood. My family and I had great time here- on the last day it rained which was thoroughly enjoyable from the comfort of the cottage, sipping a ginger lemon honey and looking at the clouds below us.
Food tips: try the mandwa roti, it's quite a nice change from the usual rotis and goes well with chicken and dal. The cook's Chinese is also good and so is the pizza. Although the chocolate mousse was a little thick for my liking.
Room tip: Take the cottage or room number 3
Staff friendly and helpful

We were recommended this place by a friend who stayed here a couple of months back to enjoy the winter. We had initially planned to spend 3 nights at the JW Mussoorie but decided to spend a night here eventually (pre party celebrations for our son's first birthday) and boy what a greta decision it was !!!
Nestled in the mountains close to George Everest point, this is as classy a homestay as you can dream of. right from the check in experience to the room we stayed in and more importantly the food (isn't that the #1 priority of most on trips), it was outstanding
Rooms are cosy for 2-3 people (max) and comfortable. In the winters, they provide heaters if needed. But the hightlight of the trip for us was the Seegreen Cafe, which is part of the B&B. The food cooked by Chef Gudvir was exceptional and he ensured we got the way we wanted (mix of spices, amount of ingredients, etc.). The highlight was the dal-rice he cooked for our 1 year old who literally pounced on the food
Some of the must have's for this cafe are: pizzas, sizzling brownie (yes they have it here), dal chawal, special hot ragi or makki rotis, chicken tikka, french fries with a tangy twist, yellow dal and the chicken masala
Along with the chef, the other 2 staff members took exceptional care of us and will recommend this place for a meal and stay both if you are in the area

I traveled solo and this place was just perfect for me. Seegreen Lodge is a small place and has only 3 rooms which meant I wouldn’t have to interact with too many people and it also had a 5 star review for its cafe so my food cravings would be well taken care of.
The BnB was better than I had expected. The room was neat and clean and the view from the window amazing. A special thanks to Somender Ji, the caretaker, and Gudveer ji, the cook, who made sure that I had a very comfortable stay of two nights. The best part was the long walks that I took in the surrounding forests, a total Shinrin-yoku feel. Got to see some amazing views at cloud end and near George Everest house and on the way got to chat with the locals. Some parts were quite steep and tested my lung capacity but the satisfaction of being able to complete the trails was immense. Also got to see some exotic birds returning to their homes just before sunset. The lodge provided me with a heater in the room for the cold nights and also had hot water in the shower as well as the wash basin.
I loved the food that was served especially the veggie pasta. I would recommend this place to solo travelers, couples and small groups of friends who love nature and quietude. My best wishes to team Seegreen.

Looking for a peaceful n rejuvenating holiday in the hills, away from hustle of main hill stations ? Then 'Seegreen ' is the place for u..serene atmosphere, cool n crisp mountain air, excellent location with beautiful views on either side, quiet walks( not exactly quiet though, u can hear chirps of birds n tinkle of cowbells), awesome homemade food, nice, cosy rooms n warm welcome.. that's what one shall expect from this place..
I stayed here for 5 days last week with a friend n had to add this place to my 'visit again' places' list. The lodge is a very simple structure with nice cafe/ dining area on ground level and three rooms on upper level with only two rooms to let as one is reserved for owners.cafe has all glass window walls to provide excellent view of surroundings, comfortable seating, rack full of books, n music system to sinc yr own music.rooms are neat, spacious, comfortable n provided with tv, electric kettle, basic furniture n enough no of quilts.bathroom has all required things including geyser but one has to be bit patient with geysers. during our visit geyser was not set for winters, so it was bit difficult for a day, but Vicky (the host, who was away that time,) managed to get electrician n sorted it out.plus the caretaker always can help u with extra bucket of hot water if needed. There is a nice seat out on upper level with fabulous view where one can sit for hours sipping tea, reading, looking at th hills or just sunbathing!! U have green, pine covered cliff on one side n bare mountains with snow capped peaks on th other...
Our food experience was too good, we opted Indian food n some local flavours. Cook managed to cope up with demands like less oil..his Makkai roties were so good that we had them all the days.. Sarso ki sabzi ( freshly plucked) needs special mention for sure, so is barbecue. Food was fresh, bought from the market on daily basis, after u place yr demand n served hot.
What all we can do there, other than sleeping, eating, relaxing? Take any road n start walking..beautiful walks..enjoy whatever comes your way, especially smell of pines..the road which leads to cloud end/ wishing well is good for morning, can go right up to Everest point via wishing well, landscape is nice on that road, if u r a birder try to reach wishing well around 8 n enjoy bird watching..it would b absolutely silent after 9..else walk till cloud end n he yr tea/coffee at th restaurant there..a well earned cup of coffee, I must say! For evenings road which goes towards Mussoorie is more preferable, as the mountains turn golden in evening light..a beautiful sight not to b missed.
Wants to visit town for a change? Better go to landour n not Mussoorie (unless u want to get yr book autographed by Ruskin bond, on sat afternoons)..landour has some nice things to offer, Vicky or Amisha can guide u well. There is a place called Doma's Inn, serves nice oriental food n has clean washroom! Bargain well with taxi guys, else they r going to charge u steep..
Well, there is nothing commercial around Seegreen but few local residence n one fairly busy dhaba across th road who plays Punjabi n Bollywood numbers quite loud,..we requested him not to b so loud, through r caretaker n then it was fine..
During nights they provided hot water bottles under yr quilts. or room heater on demand for which u pay extra.dnt forget to have a look at the Sky before retiring
All in all, it's a comfortable stay but dnt expect anything resortlike or touristy things. The hosts were away during our stay but they were very helping, available all the time on phone n took care of everything we needed.
Thanks Vicky n Amisha for offering such a wonderful place n services to guests like us.

Yes they have 3 rooms and 1 log hut
Hi. I think there is confusion. Caretaker is available all round the year and therefore service is great all round the year. It is the owner who is available few days a month but that has no effect on quality of your experience.
As regards cottage vs room - if u like solitude and great views - it is a no brainer - go for cottage if u can afford the price. If not, rooms are evergreen 😀
