Stayed in various places throughout Cambodia and this hotel was by far my favourite. The staff are very friendly and helpful, always there for your needs. The pool/bar was a nice chill spot after a hot day of temples. The quality of the twin room was exceptional. The on-site massage service and restaurant (buffet breakfast) was also fantastic. Easy tuktuk or a hot walk into town. Would stay again. Highly recommended.

We stayed in Damrei for 2 nights ( July 24th-26th ) and without a doubt we had a great stay! I never thought that our stay could be very surprising because the staffs are very warm in both restaurant and in the lobby. I liked the ambience of the property and its very clean everywhere! Rooms and 2 beds are big enough for 4 guest and bathroom is so clean too. I also love their liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner. I almost drained every bottle everytime I shower. ( Sorry, Damrei. I just love it much. 🥰 ) In the morning, their buffet breakfast is very tasty and healthy. You will have a lot of option to whatever you want to eat. Their restaurant staff is undeniably doing a great service too. I would highly recommend Damrei as a place to stay when visiting Siem Reap because it has a perfect location for a peaceful rest. A bit away from a chaos town proper. Tuk-tuk is their main mean of transportation and hotel staff voluntarily get you a ride and it will only cost you $2 to get to the famous Night Market where cheapest of the cheapest goods&stuffs are located. One thing that I noticed during our stay was that Cambodians are like Filipinos. The presence of their hospitality is very strong and impressive! They will really make you feel at home and treat you like a family rather than a guest. Especially Mr Kevin Robenson (FDM) that became my friend during our stay. He was very welcoming and accomodating during our arrival and make sure that everything were all set before taking us to our room. We traveled 4 asian countries ( Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore ) on this trip but with those 4, Cambodians hospitality and excellent service did a remarkable and impressive job among others. I never expected something special about Cambodia but to my surprise, their good people make me love their country most and definitely will go back over and over again. Til next time Siem Reap. Kodus to Damrei Hotel and the management. May your business grow more and prosper. 😊🙏🙏👏👏👏

wow! all staff at this hotel was very friendly and helpful. room was clean, beautiful and with balcony. we were 3 person for 4nights and at first they wanted to charge $20 for an extra bed which is correct because we knew that already when we book at booking.com. but we ask to put the beds together so we dont need to have an extra bed. they did it immediatly and they were always friendly to us.

breakfast was great too. they offer fruits, toast, ham (sometimes), pancakes, noodle soups, eggs, porridge, juices, coffee, tea, vegetables, ... we had dinner there sometimes too, because it was good and cheaper than having lunch/dinner in restaurant out there for tourists.

they offer many tours as well. i would definetly recommend this place to stay.

Very pleasant 4 night stay!

The room: I booked the superior king without a pool view and it was fantastic - on level 4 and it was super quiet and clean. The room was large, spacious with natural light. The bed was sooo comfy. Loved the pool area, there was only ever one or two other people there.

Breakfast: great selection of just about anything - they have a noodle station and egg station so can easily whip up vegetarian options. Dinner was just OK, but tones to eat in the area I was just too lazy to venture out some nights.

Service: amazing! Everyone (including house keepers, restaurant staff, receptionists etc) was super friendly and helpful.

Just to note in case you are traveling with another person who isn't your partner - the shower and toilet both have frosted glass doors and aren't in a separate room, so you lack privacy... just in case this might bother you
