A perfect location for exploring old quarter and the old bridgeStari Most,in only a few seconds you are on the cobbled streets, yet it is a quiet haven, our room was small, but very clean and we had lovely terrace which more than made up for size

The owner was extremely friendly and offered us other room options, but we preferred the lovely terrace, there are also facilities for making tea and coffee, with the tea and coffee provided

When we arrived were also given drinks, fruit and biscuits,a lovely place to stay

Room Tip: Ask for room with terrace, but the downside is the size of room, but it was perfect for 2 night stay

Having spent two nights here, I completely understand why the reviews for this place are SO good! The staff (Mia in particular as we dealt with her the most) are friendly, welcoming and very helpful. All of them speak excellent English (including the lads in the bar/restaurant) which made communicating a breeze for us. In fact, we found this everywhere we went in Mostar which was unexpected but very welcome. Our room was spotless (as was the whole place), very comfortable and beautifully presented. We were pre-warned there would be music in the bar until midnight but to be honest we hardly noticed it over the river running past outside. The bar is also a great place for a relaxing drink or meal.
The location is unbelievable - it is at one end of the pedestrianised area whilst the old bridge is at the other end. You simply step out the door and you're in the heart of street vendors, tourists and restaurants, shuffling your way 100m to the bridge. It's a narrow walkway and in peak season it can take 15mins to walk 100m. But we nipped out first thing in the morning and last thing at night when the streets were empty. The location/neighbourhood is entirely safe to walk around and there are a couple of mosques nearby from which you can listen to the beautiful call to prayer from your room. Breakfast was fine - omelette, fried bread, toast, jams, tea, coffee and biscuits. Heaps of car parking space straight across the road - the staff just swipe you in past the barriers. We loved staying here and would come back and stay again in a heartbeat.

I absolutely loved my stay at Pansion Oscar. The staff were warm, welcoming, and so helpful. Upon arrival you are invited to partake in a free welcome drink (beer, cocktail, Bosnian coffee, etc) in the garden.
Located right at the entrance to the Old Town, Pansion Oscar is ideally located for all the touristy bits, but also gives you an escape into the “real” Mostar if you’re up for a wander.
Breakfast was included every morning and was substantial and delicious; the room was spotless and very comfortable (with air conditioning!)
The only things to be aware of (if these are of concern) is that music plays from the garden bar/restaurant until about midnight and the WiFi was occasionally a bit spotty. Overall not a problem from us and did not detract from our overall comfort.

we arrived at the hotel after a long journey in the hot weather, and after finding the owners were greeted so warmly and the lady was absolutely lovely. She even gave us one of the best rooms with a balcony (I asked for if possible in the reservation comments) and my wish was granted. Very clean room. She gave us some arrival drinks of coffee and fresh cold orange juice with some biscuits and sweets. We felt spoiled.
It was so very relaxing there, and we felt right at home.
We were warned in the evenings about the noise of the music from the bar below, but was assured it would all finish by 12 midnight and was indeed correct as it went silent.
This didnt bother us anyway as we happily either joined in or had walks around the town in the evening or watched television, although i quite easily fell asleep to the music after exploring all day.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone. It is in a great location in Mostar, 2 mins walk from the bridge and pretty much in the old town. Also a great base to go and explore Sarajevo via the train (half the price of the bus - even though it only runs twice a day).
There is also a small kitchen available for guests with a fridge you can use and also a cold water dispenser which is free, so no need to buy bottled water as you can just top up from there.
We will return. Thank you to the owners for their hospitality.

Two couples rented two rooms at Pansion Oscar for one night in early September. Our friends' room was large, ours was smaller. We were offered a much larger room across the hall, but chose to stay where we were as we shared a balcony with our friends. Ours consisted of a bed, and a small table with two chairs. My husband had to crawl over me to get out of the bed due to the small size. But you know what? It didn't bother us at all because it was just one night. The hotel was really lovely. Outside of our rooms was a kitchen where we could help ourselves to coffee, tea and water at any time of the day or night. There was a fridge and a clothes washer and dryer. The pansion was in the old pedestrian village, right at the entrance, an a short walk to the old bridge. Breakfast was fine. The owners were very nice, and allowed us to park our car in their private area. We did not hear any music at all at night as other reviewers did.
