I've been there few times forvbusiness seminars, the hotel is nicely located near rawche searock, thw food is good and the parking service is available, they have an outdoor swimming pool and the rooms are clean and newly renovated
The hotel was perfectly situated, central yet secluded and quiet.
Friendly, helpful staff. The hotel pool was perfect for the hot days, and never crowded.
The fruit bowl was an unexpected and very appreciated bonus :)
Although the decoration is a little tired in places this hotel is extremely comfortable and nice and quiet to escape the craziness of Beirut
Room was in need of a freshening up in terms of decor but spacious and comfortable
Bathrooms was a good standard and again with plenty of space
Pool area was another nice place to escape to and the hotel also has a pretty well equipped gym although this was quite hot on occasions
Public areas were bright and welcoming and breakfast was pretty full serving both western and middle eastern dishes on the buffet
On the whole very good service in all areas of the hotel.
Definitely not luxury but a good service 4 star hotel located in raouche area. Raouche a little away from downtown so taxis needed however Hamra and shopping within 20-30 minute walk
The welcome was amazing, the staff were super friendly, we enjoyed breakfast and location. We also had time to enjoy the outdoor swimming pool, it was fantastic. Overall a great experience and we will return.
I stayed at the Ramada Plaza for a business trip for 4 days. It was an underwhelming experience, compared to other similar-priced hotels in Beirut.
The room was adequate, showing a little wear and tear. No washcloths are offered, which I found to be a minus. However, it was clean and everything (from faucets to light fixtures) worked well. The window refused to close all the way, and a hole in the frame produced a loud whistling noise when there was a breeze; I fixed this with a bit of tissue.
I did experience one slight mishap where my room was cleaned, but there were zero towels left when I returned to it in the afternoon.
The hotel staff was a bit surly and not as helpful as in other hotels in Beirut.
Breakfast was fresh and delicious.
The lobby is a bit of a frightful space at night, but at least it is very large and with comfortable furniture. I did not visit the penthouse restaurant, the pool, or the bar at all, so I have no comment on those.
For meetings held in the hotel, I found it helpful that a hotel staff member was nearly always present nearby for issues with AV equipment, coffee break, etc. The space was not well lit, but otherwise served well for our moderately-sized group.
Excellent, excellent location for visiting the Raouche (sea rocks) and Hamra is only a short walk away.
Overall, there are better hotels in Raouche for about the same price, especially when it comes to the service/guest experience. Lebanon is legendary for its hospitality industry, but the Ramada Plaza is a bit of an underwhelming example of this.
