Had a great stay at Top Tours Guest House. Mugi was incredibly accommodating and let me change the days I was staying as my plans had changed from what I booked on Hostelworld. Mugi also was able to store my bag free of charge while visiting Terelj, and store a mountain bike overnight. The main reception of the hostel is cosy, just like your living room at home. You are offered coffee and tea on arrival, a nice breakfast in the mornings and anything else you need is at your disposal. Mugi has several staff on hand to help throughout the day, and she can also help you organise your activities. The place is also spotless, and all guests were very friendly and happy to share their adventures and tips over breakfast. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

All visitors should aim this guesthouse.
The living room is spacious, the breakfast is delicious, and the bedrooms are clean.
All travelers tend to be disciplined and peaceful.
Best of all, the owner's mother is always there and is kind and helpful. Accommodation fees, tour fees, and taxi fees are cheap.
Please consider planning your travel itinerary here where many travelers from various places come and make friends. It will definitely be a fun trip at Mongolia.

I stayed 1 night in the private room with balcony. The staff were lovely and kind, the mattress was excellent. But, to enter the private room you must walk through the dorm room. The private room also has a glass window in the door making the noise quite loud and the light shine in until the dorm decides to quiet down and shut off the light (after midnight). It also got quite bright very early in the morning as the outside windows had no curtain. I recommend getting curtains on the outside window and the inside door, a bedside lamp (the overhead fluorescent lights were so harsh) and possibly a fan in the private room (it got quite hot and there are no screens on the outside windows to keep mosquitoes out). The breakfast was great! The place is kept very clean. The only other downside, there is only 1 toilet/shower for all of the guests which can make for a long wait. Great central location, but on 4th floor walk-up.

The double room my fiancee and I stayed in for a few days is excellent. The entire hostel is very nice. Very comfortable living room, fully equipped kitchen for guests to use, every day a different and very tasty breakfast. Monkhtuya, the owner of the hostel, is very friendly and attentive, always willing to help with whatever was needed. My fiancee and I participated in the 8-day Central Mongolia and Gobi Desert Tour. It was amazing. Everything, absolutely everything was perfect, exceeding our expectations. Our guide Oggi, along with the driver named Tukson, made our journey a true cultural immersion, always willing to teach and very proud to introduce us to their country. We experience intensely what the nomadic life is like, interacting with several locals along the way, visiting beautiful places, mountains, valleys, sand dunes, national parks, monasteries, temples, several villages and small towns, as well as many campsites. We stayed for several moments face to face with the wildlife and saw the most beautiful sky of our lives.
My fiancee and I have been to 78 countries, working as digital nomads, writing about destinations and recording a lot of content for social media and I can assure you that the tour we did with Top Tours Mongolia was by far the most memorable and incredible experience that we've had on our travels. If you really want to experience Mongolia, they are the best.

I booked this hostel because it has a good location. The matresses are good. Apart from that I was very very unhappy I made a reservation. An unfriendly welcome without words as the girls working there don't speak English at all. I had booked a 4 bed dorm and they put me in a 6 bed dorm.
The breakfast looked good, but the bread was moldy. When we showed them, they didn't care and left it on the table.
After my 20 day tour throughout Mongolia I showed up again and it seemed that they forgot about my reservation, though I had asked confirmation about 5 times.
They brought me to another building, so called also owned by the same manager. I would get the same service for the same price.
Things couldn't have gone worse. There was a party going on in the studio until 1:30 am. I kindly asked to switch off the light in the dorm and to be a bit quieter.
Around 3:00 am someone woke me up and claimed to be the real manager. He gave me the blame that 4 of his guests left because I had asked to switch off the light. He wanted me to pay for 5 pax incl. me. I asked to continue the conversation in the morning. He left but knocked again on the door 15 min. later. As a woman alone I was really afraid with 2 men sleeping on the ground in the living room. In the morning same disussion. I decided to leave. When I refused to pay for the 4 other guests, he didn't want to let me go and blocked the exit of the dorm and pushed me in the dorm again... Got very scared now! I ran to the window which gives out to the main road and started to scream to grab the attention of people passing by. One minute later he yelled that I could leave and on the staircase he spitted on me. You really cannot trust these people. Top Tour GH had guided me to this hostel which name is Legend Hills, 2 entrances further in the same building and had an even more awkward experience. Please be conscious!!!
