I loved it here!
Lovely hotel near the river with great view from balcony and an even better view from the very nice rooftop pool.
Breakfast fine on the first floor.
Staff always friendly and helpful.
Room had everything I needed, even though not very big it was still a very nice room.
Transfer from airport was arranged beforehand and the car was waiting when I arrived.
I will definitely go back!

I have now stayed at this property on two previous occasions , the last being in April 2015 following which I delivered a very positive review.
On my latest visit I stayed 12 nights and my experience was disappointing and this relates largely to service levels and housekeeping which have declined considerably in 5 months.
i had booked a room with a balcony however the hotel kindly upgraded me to a "suite" however beware this is not your normal definition of suite with a separate sitting room . The Harmony definition of suite is an additional single bed and a bath tub that extends into the bedroom. I would have preferred the normal double which doesn't include the bath and extra bed as the suite room is only marginally bigger but with extra furniture
The housekeeping was erratic and items constantly not being replaced including towels, water, toilet paper and shampoo and body wash. I lost count of how many times I had to ask for the room to be serviced, despite leaving the make up room sign on the door at 8 am, I would return late afternoon to find the rooms surrounding me done but not mine.
The breakfast quality whilst never more than average has declined further and the serving staff have become very surly no doubt due to the increase in work load from the increased number of guests and groups.
The hotel has received very positive reviews in the past and as a result is much busier including a large number of groups hence housekeeping and breakfast appears not to have kept pace.
The single small lift is unable to cope and I was lucky I was on level 4 so I could take the stairs to my room. There is a further lift being constructed however it looks equally small.
The room rate has risen and whilst the location is superb, there are better properties in this price range.
I don't expect any comment from hotel management as I note that they don't respond to any comments from guests which leads to believe the owners are not professional hoteliers. It is such a pity as the property was very good - it is now just another average property in a city with many average properties which after a few more years will become as dilapidated as those others that inhabit the riverside .
Its time for me to move on - I am going to try a new property scheduled to open shortly on the other side of Kandal market - 300 metres away.

We have just arrived at this hotel after not being picked up from the airport as asked.we asked for a room facing the river on the upper floors but was given room 408 which looks out on roofs and the balcony you can not sit out on as it smells of rotting products.not sure how people can say this is a great stay .we have travelled across vietnam loas and this is worse one yet. Sorry could not recommend this hotel unless the other rooms are different

Stayed here for three nights, travelling through Cambodia with our 9 year old daughter. A well located hotel - easy walk to a huge choice of riverside bars and restaurants. The bustling Kandal Market is right on the doorstep of the Hotel and is a great place to talk a walk through during the day. Well appointed room with plenty of space - had booked a balcony room, but there are obviously different types of 'balcony rooms' - ours was more of a fire escape over looking the rooftops below - a better choice would be the rooms with balcony views across the river. The rooftop pool and bar was fabulous - a lovely place to chill out. Breakfast was OK - the western food on offer is 'interesting' but there is an egg station and plenty of tasty pastries on offer. All in all we were happy with our choice staying here - and thank you the wonderful staff - very friendly and obliging.

We stayed here for 4 nights, 3 days.
From the get-go, we were blown away by the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the hotel. Nice relaxing vibe, clean hotel, decent breakfast, good food at the restaurant.
The best things were the rooftop pool & jacuzzi which is amazing to lounge around after a long day of explore Phnom Penh. The fitness room is also well equipped for gym junkies like us.
We would definitely stay here again.
The only downside to this hotel is that if your room is facing the wet markets, it can get loud early in the morning, so bring earplugs if you like. Otherwise, if your room faces the wet markets, have a drink on your balcony and watch the locals do their thing. It's quite mesmerising to watch.

Not all. Specify balance balcony when you make your reservation. Also, suggest a high floor as the area around the hotel is noisy and gritty.
I cannot remember which standard our room was so I am unable to answer your question. However our room had a bath in addition to the shower. (in the bedroom portion-not the wet area). I hope this helps.
We probably can`t give an accurate answer to your query. However one of our party had a double room at the back of the hotel on the 4th. floor with a window and view over neighbouring rooftops. The only apparent difference between the two rooms was that ours had a bathtub and balcony view.
I believe our room did have a balcony but I would ask the hotel to be sure.
