We stayed there last December 23rd to 26th, I was upset on their amenities, it was lacking and some of it were broken, some staff were rude, wifi sucks, couldn't even provide floor rags in CR.. there was thisnstaff that kept on picking on my kids because they were playing around the chairs in the pool, i understand that because its for the safekeeping of their properties, but what I dont understand is there was this kid playing and running on the edge of the pool and she didnt went out of her way to tell them that its dangerous to run on the edge of the pool, i confronted her and asked her that is this your policy to protect their properties and disregard the safety of their clients, they said "di na nila concern yun" wow! Considering that we are not walk in clients, we are AVLCI members.. I have written a report and testimonial about this, i just hope actions will be taken about this matter..
Myself, an OFW in Dubai, my wife, a pediatrician from Bontoc, Mountain Province, my mother-in-law, an administrator in the government sector, my sister-in-law, who is a student in Baguio City and lastly, my seven year old daughter.
All of us from different generations and sectors had a great time indeed. Astoria Bohol staff are friendly, accomodating and willing to help if needed. Pamana cafe is impressive with a small resort - it can serve a first class service. The food is great and the price is manageable. I think the most selling point of this resort is not the pool nor the beach but it's the peace and tranquility the resort offers, in fact, mama did finish reading a whole book in our staycation here. Furthermore, the easy access outside the resort was great as well; we enjoyed Bohol tours wherein the chocolate hills was majestic as always. My daughter was ecstatic with the ATVs and everybody enjoyed the floating restaurant. We would definitely come back again and we'll be looking forward to more improvements of the resort.
We had a fantastic time at Astoria. The room, classic and elegant in style, was spacious enough for a family of 4. It has a kitchenette, a tub, vanity mirror, hair dryer, and the necessary essentials for a luxurious stay. The pool is just a few steps away, right in front of our door. The kids truly had a blast!
The place, the staff, the services were all superb. 2 Thumbs up AVLCI!!! :)
Last January 13 to 15, 2019; me and my friends stayed at Astoria Bohol. The trip from Cebu to Bohol wasn't a hassle and when we arrived at the port, there was a van waiting for us (you have to tell Astoria if you wanted to be picked up and drop off at the port). It took us about 15 to 20 minutes to reach the resort and they served us welcoming drinks.
We had to wait for our room though because they had to clean it and we arrived early (2PM is their check in).
Afterwards, we decided to take a swim in their pool. It wasn't that big but it was clean. Also went to the beach, it had white sand and the sea was calm.
I can say that the room was amazing. We had our own terrace and 2 queen beds. The sheets were clean and crisp. The bathroom was big (as usual) and it also had a separate shower and bath.
We rented out motorcycles for our DIY trip. It costs us about 400php each and we had to pay for the gas. (If you want to rent motorcycles, ask the front desk but we looked for our own).
Bohol was relaxing and we needed that.
Thanks Astoria for providing us with a very comfortable stay!
We stayed in Astoria Bohol for 5 days, 2 of which are the birthdays of my husband and little girl. Ms. Khaye and her team helped me prepare a surprise for my husband upon arriving in the hotel. They even gave 2 complimentary cakes for my husband and daughter. We we're overwhelmed with their gestures. The hotel staffs are all kind and accommodating. The hotel in itself is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, beds are cozy (one of the best things that I always want with Astoria Hotels) and the pool is great. There are also restaurants near the hotel that serves good food like Artizan Cafe and Kusina Genaro. We had great fun during our stay in Bohol. Thanks to Astoria, Ms. Khaye and her team. 💜💜💜
