A lovely spot to come to and we spent 5 nights there overlooking Beli mid May The room is fairly basic, but the bed comfortable and everything worked. The views over the bay were very pretty, and I would say that all views would be nice given the green and rocky hills behind.
Food was tasty and hearty. Service for dinner not the quickest and there were few of us there, so don't know when it gets busier.
The only downside was that a large diving party came to stay (as the other side of their business is organising outdoor activities) and for 2 nights in a row we had drunks shouting, banging on doors and waking us up. As there is zero sound insulation you hear everything. As we diplomatically mentioned it the first night we got their revenge at 3am the next night. Not pleasant and just as well my wife restrained me as my training would have kicked in and they would have seen the inside of a hospital!
So really they need to decide whether they cater for club 18-30 activities or more restful clients.
Putting the noise aside, a lovely spot and very genuine friendly service.

Very nice place to stay; beautiful views from our room.
We stayed in a family room with kitchen: everything was spotless.
Staff was nice and helpful.
Had dinner at the restaurant: fantastic lamb dish!
Place is quite remote so plan ahead if you need something from the shops ;-)
all in all a great place to stay and relax

We stayed for 3 nights at this basic pension. It probably sleeps about 30 people, some in dorms, and caters for diving groups. There were a bunch of diving Germans staying at the same time. We were a couple and were in an ensuite room on the top floor. It was pretty hot and stuffy, and we had to change the room. There's no space to lounge around, and downstairs it was fairly communal...eating at long tables. We ate half board, and the food of 3 courses was perfectly good. Breakfast a bit basic, but all in for €70 for the two of us was great value. If you're happy with all that, then the local area is lovely. The pension is right next to an eco-centre that looks after the local griffon population, and manages some great local walks. We did a couple and they are wonderful day walks among unspoilt country, occasionally stumbling on houses now deserted. The village of Beli is close by, very picturesque, but very quiet, now apparently only half inhabited. There's a pebbly beach down a steep road, with beautifully clear water, with a campsite and a couple of bars. Although it probably gets quite busy in season, it's a very tranquil place. We did drive down to Cres on one day, which seems like a pretty port. Compared to the mainland of Istria, this is delightfully quiet spot. By the way, booking arrangements are a bit haphazard, email may work, otherwise you'll have to call when the 'boss' is around. She does speak English, and I expect German / Italian

Super nice b&b. The view is amazing:)

We were a little surprised that our room, the dragon room, had two separate single beds, since we came as a couple. And the mattress was a bit on the hard side.

The food was fine, especially dinner. The breakfast had a good variety but ask for espresso or americano because the Nescafé is not good. Nice cheese and fresh fruit and vegetable selection. The service was great, the nice lady asked us for scrambled eggs, and that was way better than the boiled eggs, because they were over boiled.

Adriano checked us in and out and he was the most hospitable person we met at our whole trip. He even gave us his number and said we could call 24/7 of course we didn’t but it was still nice of him. All the best
Katrine and Thomas ❤️

Room Tip: Don’t try to move the beds. If you have a car then drive to the beach. The walk up will kill you.

No, there are no swimming pools and it's not by the sea with a private beach, for that you'll have to book one of the big, impersonal hotels.
But then you'll miss the great atmosphere that is so difficult to find nowadays, then you'll miss a great view at the surrounding islands that are laid out in the beautiful blue sea, you'll miss great food at affordable prices (you should book half-board, because it's (slightly limited - no scampi, f.e.) a la carte, anyway), you'll miss a PADI-OWD course for € 300 where you might be the only pupil and you'll miss so many other things...and if you are lucky and the owner Robi in a good mood enough to pick up his guitar...then you are in for an evening you'll never forget!
Just avoid a visit from mid July until mid August but you wouldn't get a room anyway...
A rarity!
