Points of Interest

1. Start Here

Head uphill on terrifying narrow shelf road and make a sharp right turn up a big ledge over a gaping crack. A series of extremely steep ledges follow, including the giant Z-Turn. This first half mile is the toughest part of trail.

2. Pull Over Area

On left is a wide pullover with great views of Moab. Trail curves right and heads downhill through valley. Cross or go around giant pothole called the Car Wash.

3. Loop Begins

Trail splits here. Stay right. You'll come back to this point later on the other road.

4. Big Dome

Climb steep slickrock dome and drop down the other side. Choose from aggressive or less aggressive lines, depending on your thrill quotient.

5. Roads Merge

Continue east here as road from other side rejoins on left. You'll come back here later.

6. Hard Left

Bear left and follow narrow road up series of small ledges. Right goes to Hidden Valley Hiking Trail.

7. Overlook of Moab

Road curves left around large rock outcrop, then turns right and drops downhill briefly. It ends at great overlook of Moab. Turn around and return to Point #5.

8. Sand Hills

When you reach Point #5 drop downhill into valley. You'll soon come to some large sand hills on the left. People attempt to drive up them, but it takes tremendous power. Continue through fun valley to Point #3 where road split earlier. Stay right and go out the way you came in. Be extremely careful going down. It's actually more dangerouse than... More
