Points of Interest

1. Landscape

This was not here last year. It looks like they are putting in a resevoir or something. Let me know what it is when you see it.

An example of a typical Czech Canada landscape.

2. Bison Farm

This is the entrance to the Bison Ranch if you arrive by car or come from the north. There is much more information about the farm itself in my other guide which includes Roznov.

3. Matejovec

Very small town. This church (St. Oldrich of Linhart, 1747) is pretty much all that is here, but around the corner (just ahead to the right) is the start of a 6-8 kilometer downhill run right into Czesky Rudolec. Fun, fun, fun.

4. Cesky Rudolec

Under reconstruction and purported to become a hotel in the future, it is not only supposed to have a place for bicycles (directly across the street) in the future, but also a micro-brewery. So, look out once that's done!

5. Building Facade

The only Czech example of exterior facade painting/art I saw here. On the other hand, if you make it over the border into Austria, this seems to be very popular. Every town has it seems, one building with some interesting theme painted on it for everyone passing through to see.
