There is a great look out up the Cypress Bowl Road. Essentially it is the same view as Grouse Mountain Gondola but it costs nothing but the 15 minute trip up the road. When taking friends on tours I try to take them there in the daylight and in the evening to see Vancouver. This is a gorgeous overlook of Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.
Porteau Cove is nice park along the highway with a great view of the ocean. Many local divers come here to play around in the sunken ships.
This is a great place to have a coffee. I generally find the coffee good here. This place can be seasonal at times check their website to see if they are working. If not there is a Starbucks in Squamish and Whistler.
This is a very good mine museum. It is well worth the price of admission.
These falls are just off the Highway. They are worth stopping for. It is a short walk up a path to see them.
This Gondola is spectacular. It is new and has lots of beautiful trails at the top.
If you are in the area from December to January there can be up 200 eagles along the river here. The rest of the year there is at least a few around.
This is my favourite place in the world to have hash browns. The food here is so, so good.
There are a lot of nice shops. I personally find that I like to walk around but find that all the prices are overinflated.
I have not yet been on this gondola but my wife says it is very nice and worth the money.
