quiet, cute & quaint, what give Yachats it's charm
Category: Perfect weekend
1. the Green Salmon Coffe House
Great coffee, health breakfast, relaxing attomosphere
2. Cape Perpetua Look-out
Walk to the mountian point of cape perpetua for a breathtaking view of the rugged Oregon Coast line. A little stone house is at the point. Your best oregon photo will be from here!
3. Heceta Head Lighthouse
Lighthouse is pearched on a seaside cliff about raging waters. Tours are given in the summer.
4. Lunch at Grand Occations
Awesome little deli with good sandwiches and killer berry pies! Yum!
5. Afternoon Shopping in the Village of Yachats
places to hit: Judith's Kitchen Tools, Toad Hall Gift Shop, Rain Dogs. Cute Stores with really cool stuff.
6. 804 trail or fly a kite on the Yachats River Bay!
A nice gusty breeze picks up in the afternoon. Nice time to stroll down the 804 Trail or break out the Kite you've been dying to use.
7. Afternoon snack and glass of wine at the Yachats Wine Trader
wine bar with an ideal location to sip wine and whatch the waves roll in. Very cozy with great appitizers. Perfect for "apre dinner"
8. Dinner at the Yachats River House
Best restaurant in Yachats! The food is amazing. Maybe one of the best restuarants on the Coast. Just opened but I ate there several night and it was consistantly delicious!!! Deserts are dangerously decadent.
9. Apre cocktail or port at the Yachats River House Lounge
good martini's and other cocktails!
10. Best hotels!
I have stayed at many hotels in Yachats and I would suggest: The Sea Vue Hotel, the Heceta Light House (they have a seven course breakfast in the morning) or the Overleaf.
