My now fiance and I love Lewisburg! This is one of those special small towns that is still full of life but is set in such a historic setting! While we don't have children, we can be kids at heart and had fun on their river as well as just strolling their wonderful streets.

  • 1. General Lewis Inn
Historic General Lewis Inn, Lewisburg, West Virginia

This place is so romantic and the food is great too!

  • 2. Food & Friends

This is just one of the great restaurants right downtown. I loved their surf & turf salad and their gourmet candy counter!

  • 3. Serenity Now Outfitters

My fiance loved this outfitter. I even didn't mind browsing around their clothing items while he looked at the major stuff.

  • 4. Lewisburg
    Lewisburg, West Virginia

  • 5. Greenbrier Valley Theatre

A professional theatre with great ambiance! I'd go back just to see a show.

  • 6. Miss Ashley's Tea Room

OK so I drug him in here but the food was so great - he even admitted it was one of our best meals. Bonnie, the owner, is so nice and seems to make everything from scratch. Her tea selection is out of this world!

  • 7. greenbrier river trail

We biked along the trail and used it as access to kayak their Greenbrier River. The trail is flat so that made me happy and we are considering working up to do the entire 77m trek and camp in the future.
