Jul 22, 2006“Lives in Quebec City, travels as often as possible where there is good beer to taste, usually in Western Europe. Keen on cutting expenses everywhere possible when on holidays, except on a good local beer. Top destination for taste buds thrill is Belgium, so far.”

Micro-brewery, in Quebec City's Lower Town. Sample tasting possible. Made on the premises: ales, lager, amber, red, white, black, stout and others ... Free WI-FI access Note: apart from the introductory page, the website is in French
Tobacconist and convenience store, small size but well equipped store holding a wide variety of micro-brewery beers from the province, and some imported beers as well. In Quebec City's Upper Town, on a small fashionable street. While you're there, you could have a look at one of the provincial liquor stores a few doors away (''S.A.Q.'' for Societe des Alcools du Quebec), on the same side of the street - some imported beers (those they sell are not sold anywhere else, by law), wines and spirits.
LES À-CÔTÉS DU QUARTIER : convenience store, closer to the food hall "Le Petit Cartier", at 1 169 Cartier, sells several local microbrewery beers.
The oldest grocery store/general merchant in the city keeps a decent selection of local (from micro-brewery and commercial ones as well) beers, and some beer glasses. If you are lucky enough to see some Dominus Vobiscum there, grab it! (Love the Double)
