Day 2: Pick up from Fahari Palace Leave Nairobi in the morning to reach the small town of Nyeri for a sumptuous lunch before leaving for the tree hotel of your choice, (The Ark or Mountain Lodge), in the early afternoon. The night is spent on your comfortable perch, above the floodlit water hole and saltlick where, all night long, a procession of animals come to drink. Dinner and overnight at a THE ARK or similar
Day 3: During the morning cross the tip of the Aberdare mountains stopping briefly to admire the 73m plunge of Thompson's Falls, named after the Scots explorer who first saw the Falls in 1884. Continue to Lake Nakuru for lunch, and in the afternoon visit the Lake Nakuru National Park, (optional activity) Boat ride at Lake Naivasha where the sight of flamingos will never be forgotten. Dinner and Overnight in lake nakuru lodge in the park or Naivashacountry club ( FULL BOARD).
Day 4: After breakfast depart for Masai Mara arriving in time for lunch. An afternoon game drive during which it would be possible to locate the huge black-maned lions, for which the reserve is famous. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.
Day 5: Morning and afternoon game viewing. Maasai Mara Game Reserve and set-up Camp. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive in the game reserve, which is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary. Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Although July, August and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year round. The famous Maasai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve. Overnight Mara Leisure Camp.
