    Start your tour at the famous St. Petersburg Pier for a dellcious meal with a view. Eat inside in a world reknown Spanish restaurant or Steak House or outside with the seagulls and the magnificent view. Then board the Downtown Looper Trolley for $.25 ($.10 if you are a senior) and be entertained with facts about the town as you get off and on at various attractions, museums and shopping venues. Our guides are fun and knowledgeable and our town is fascinating. The trolley is air conditioned or open air...you choose ,and no matter the weather, you will have a fabulous time! As if this wasn't enough, you are only about 30 minutes away from downtown Tampa, Bradenton, or the world famous St. Pete and Clearwater Beaches. It is an adventure in Paradise!

  • 2. The Columbia Restaurant at the Pier

    A wonderful meal, terrific service and outstanding views. This version of the famous restaurant that originated in Tampa improves on the original if only because of the beautiful views from midway up above the Pier. The 1905 salad is a full meal and coupled with the delectable Cuban bread, you hardly have room left for the Flan!

    Sharing a burger or salad with the seagulls, quaffing a beer while watching a sailboat regatta, filching french fries from your partner while watching the banner plane do touch and goes at Whitted Airport just below you....it doesn't get any better than this. If you are a purist and the weather is not to your liking, you CAN eat inside where the coconut shrimp is almost as delectable...but why would you want to miss the ambiance of alfresco dining on top of the Pier?

In the various galleries can be found European art, American art , Photography .Greek and Roman antiquities and pre-Columbian and Asian art. Several times a year, new exhibits are added for limited periods of time. The Marley Room is home to Sunday musical concerts followed by tours of the museum. The gift shop is a treasure trove of beautiful gifts.

    A Smithsonian affiliate, this museum has housed a wonderful step back in time with a display centered on the Cuban Missle Crisis and another on JFK. Recently, a Beatles exhibit amazed and astounded visitors and something new is always about to be unveiled.

    Florida Holocaust Museum, St. Petersburg, Florida

    The fourth largest Holocaust museum in the country, the Florida Holocaust Museum has as its centerpiece a Polish Boxcar used to transport victims to the death camps during World War II. An art exhibit including an acclaimed outdoor sculpture entitled "Endless Column" is another focal point of this sobering step back in time.

    A wonderful way to see St. Petersburg. Narrated by an accomplished and knowledgeable driver, this trolley leaves the Pier every 15 minutes. For the nominal fee of $.25 ($.10 for seniors), you can complete the loop or get off and on at various attractions, eateries and shopping stops.
