  • 1. Sams Club

Warehouse store that items are bought in bulk. This is were we bought an endless supply of Crustables, juices, and fruit for the beach. Also a great place to pick up snacks for munchin'! Always has the best price for gas!!

  • 2. Cape Henlopen Motel

Simple motel that is within walking distance to Lewes Beach. Offers 2 beds to a room, a bathroom, shower, tv , a table that seats 6, and a little refridgerator. Has Maid Service.

  • 3. Lewes beach
    Lewes, Delaware

An Awesome little beach that is non-terrifying to children, and parents can relax a little while there children play in the waves. This is the bay area not the ocean so the waves are not over-whelming.

  • 4. Cape Henlopen State Park
Cape Henlopen State Park, Lewes, Delaware

Awesome park. Beach is a little crowded, but if you love the ocean, it is a nice one to visit. Dolphins are regulars there. You can drive over to the other side of the park, about 5 minutes and visit the bay side. You can walk out so far at Low tide and see the light house that is there. While walking out into the bay, you can see sea creatures. My kids loved this and we spent A LONG time there. You can fish and go camping there if that interests you.

  • 5. Lewes Ferry
    Lewes, Delaware

A ferry that you can watch set sail from the Lewes Beach. Goes to Cape May. You can ride or just watch. My kids called it the pirate ship.

  • 6. Lighthouse Restaurant

Cute little Restaurant that sits directly across from the Cape Henlopen Motel. If you go early, you can get a great deal on food. The boat dock is attached to this restaurant. It is a nice walk on the dock to view the fishing boats.
