great shopping and dining on Miracle Mile, drive east on Coral Way (24th Street) through the Gables to see the majestic historic Spanish style homes with old trees along the road creating a beautiful canopy...a nice drive...
Old rock quarry made into a pool early in the century, beauty contests were held there for a time; the pools has caves, waterfalls, a kiddie section; great for families and couples, too...the water is always ice cold and is the best place to be in the dead of the summer!
