After checking into your hotel head to Malaga's leading Michelin Star restaurant. Fantastic menu, impeccable service and little extras that make this a unique dining experience

  • 3. Calle Larios

Next morning, how about some retail therapy in the chic pedestrianised shopping area right outside your hotel. High street mingles with designer fashion, street entertainers and amazing modern art exhibits. Stop for coffee at Lepanto or a light tapas lunch at any of the city centre cafes.

  • 4. Picasso Museum + Museum of Modern Art

Still got some energy left?. Malaga is proud of it's new Picasso museum, not far from the shops and in the heart of the Cathedral and Old Jewish district. Then head across the river to the CAC, Malaga's newest Modern Art Museum. Time for another coffee? - The CAC cafe is the place to be seen.

  • 5. Arab Baths

After a hard day's shopping and culture, what better way to unwind than a traditional Hammam and massage. Three rooms of varying temperatures and a selection of body scrubs, head and body massages helps recharge the batteries for your final day in Malaga. Find these baths just off Plaza de la Merced (Picasso's birthplace), near the new Picasso museum.

  • 6. Gibralfaro

Next morning - Want to see more on your last day? - Climb the hill to visit Malaga's perfectly restored Moorish Castle, offering breathtaking views over the bay.

  • 7. Life's a beach

Maybe you just want to relax. Head for La Malagueta, Malaga's longest stretch of beach, right in the city ! Great beachside cafes, great views of the coast and perhaps a beautiful cruise ship docked in the bay. Alternatively check out of your hotel a little early and head for Guadalmar beach, just in front of the airport, for that last minute, all-over tan!
