Can not say much about this. YOU just have to come and see it for yourself! It is one of the 7 natural wonders in the world, and that is all that needs to be said about this magnificant attraction a little more than 1 hour from Flagstaff!
History and the universe and the stars, and not only the ones you can see by the naked eye. Take the tour and see through some of the best telescopes in the world! Pluto was discovered here in Flagstaff!!
The best Museum in Northern Arizona and perhaps the State. You can't miss seeing all that the museum has to offer. Includes authentic (local) Indian hand made items in a small shop in the museum, great prices too!
The tallest peak here in Arizona!!! 12,633 feet above sea level! Great Skiing and great hiking almost 9 months out of the year! Summer months the ski lift turns into a lift for guests to see the area at about 12,000 feet! Stunning views!! Take a basket during summer for lunch!
Another day trip from Flagstaff to go down the hill about 30 minutes to see the great Red Rocks of Sedona. Absolutely not to be missed and hiked as well! Head futher down and over to Jerome while visiting Sedona, before heading back up the hill to Flagstaff!
