  • 10. La Palapa

The Catalonia's Lunch Buffet. Eat by the pool with a view of the ocean, and dine with the activities staff before they head off to the staff meeting and practise for the night's performance. There is also a continental breakfast served here, but its not well advertised.

  • 11. Las Margaritas Bar

The Catalonia's Main Bar. Stop by here before the theatre show and don't forget to stop after too. The activites staff will be by on their way to the disco after the show. Congratulate them on their hard work.

  • 12. La Selva

The Catalonia's Breakfast and Dinner Buffet. Get there early to get the best food - it closes at ten, but make note that they do serve a continental breakfast at the palapa. Its jsut not well advertised.

  • 13. The Animacion Staff

Don't miss these guys by the pool and at the theatre shows. Absolutely amazing group of people!

  • 14. The Disco

Can't get enough music, alcohol and fun? The disco is open every night from 11-1 and the activities staf hangs out here for awhile after their shows to dance with the guests. Its often the site of beer drinking contests so be prepared!

  • 15. The Pool

This is one of the largest pool I have ever seen at an all-inclusive resort. Its amazing. There is a fountain right in the middle of it, and there are hot tubs off to the side too. Don't forget to look for them. Activites are the main focus of this area. Participate in Spanish Lessons, Beach Volleyball, Darts, Dance Lessons, Pool Basketball and Polo, Crazy games, Beer contests, tequila contests, Football, Ping pong, and a whole separate set of games for kids at the Kids Club. And if its going to rain, don't worry. They move the games into the Teatro and Lobby instead!

  • 16. Alegria Spa

The Catalonia's spa. Constructed after the hurricane that tore the hotel apart, this spa has a wonderful atmosphere, and includes a gym that is all part of the package!
