I've lived in Cincinnati for 10 years now and have found it to be a great place for families. If you live in near Cincinnati, you should definitely give it a try for a fun little trip.

  • 1. King's Island

    This is a great amusement park for kids of all ages. It has a wonderful rollercoasters, shows and a great kiddie section. It even has a very nice waterpark for those hot summer days.

  • 2. Cincinnati Museum Center

    This is actually 3 museums and an Omnimax in one location. It's located at the old Cincinnati Train Station which is a great venue. The Cincinnati History Museum, Museum of Natural History and Science, and a Children's Museum. There's something here for everyone.

    This one is actually in Dayton a short 60 minutes from Cincinnati. If you love airplanes and airplane history, this is for you. And it's free!

  • 4. Cincinnati Zoo

    One of the best zoos in the country. Don't miss it. Everything is within walking distance and it has some great exhibits.

    Eden Parks Krohn Conservatory is a nationally recognized showcase of more than 3,500 plant species from all over the world. The Palm, Tropical, Desert and Orchid houses exhibit permanent displays of exotic plants in natural settings, complete with a 20 foot rainforest waterfall.

    Downtown Cincinnati doesn't have much to offer, but it does have Fountain Square. Good food, shopping and short walk to see the Reds.
