  • 1. Fremont Street Experience
Fremont Street Experience, Las Vegas, Nevada

If you make downtown you have to check out the Freemont street experience. There is a canopy over the whole street and at night there is a light show. The casinos downtown are much smaller than the ones on the strip but they are still pretty cool, and the nice thing is there is a lot less walking from casino to casino.

  • 2. Bellagio Buffet
The Buffet at Bellagio, Las Vegas, Nevada

By far the best breakfast buffet in vegas. It's still a little pricey for breakfast, about $14 per person, but excelent food.

  • 3. Fat Tuesdays

This is only the best frozen drink I have ever had. They are have a bunch of different flavors like strawberry daquiri, margarita and mudslide. There is a Fat Tuesdays at MGM, the Aladdin, Ceasar's Palace, and the Stratosphere. I highly recommed trying these, besides tastings are free so why not!

  • 4. Casino at the Mirage Hotel
The Casino at The Mirage, Las Vegas, Nevada

This remains one of my favorite casinos because it's so cool inside. The entrance is like a big atrium filled with trees, flowers, and other greenery, and there is a little pond in the middle. Also, you can see the famous white tigers in a habitat near the check in.

  • 5. Top of the World
Top of the World Restaurant at the Stratosphere, Las Vegas, Nevada

This a great restauarant at the top of the stratosphere. The restaurant itself is a circular room that rotates very slowly so that no matter where you are sitting, you get to see an amazing view of the strip. The food is great too, but it you don't feel like dining there, you can just go up to the top and have a drink in their romance lounge.

  • 6. Gondola Rides at the Venetian
Gondola Rides at the Venetian, Las Vegas, Nevada

Although it's a little pricey, this is still a fun thing to do, especially for couples. There is river that runs through the shops inside the Venetian and you can get a private gondola ride thru the hotel. There is also a lake outside the hotel and, weather permitting, you can ride the gondolas out here too. The best part, the gondoleer serenades you as you float thru the water.

  • 7. Forum Shops at Caesars Palace
Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, Nevada

Every single time I go to Las Vegas I go to the Forum shops at Caesar's. It's a big maze and I get lost every time, but they have so many amazing stores to check out. All the fancy places like Roberto Cavalli, Gucci, Versace, Fendi, and plus, they have a Fat Tuesday's. There are even a few attractions to see here. There is two story FAO Schwartz and the entrance to that is a two story Trojan horse you walk under. In the middle of the shops there are a group of roman statues. And every hour or so, they actually move and talk and the ceiling lights up with lightning. A little hokey or pretty cool, it's up to you to decide.

  • 8. Bellagio Fountains
    Bellagio Fountains, Las Vegas, Nevada

Every one says you have to see the fountains at the Bellagio, well everyone is right, they are the coolest thing. There is music playing while the fountains go off, and the water sways back and forth with the music. It is defintely a must see.

  • 9. KA - Cirque du Soleil
KA - Cirque du Soleil, Las Vegas, Nevada

Any cirque du soleil show is almost undescribable. But this has been my favorite so far of all the cirque shows. It features a moving stage that goes from a flat surface to an upright wall, and even a moving boat appears where the stage once was. Like I said it's hard to describe, but if you like acrobatics it's well worth it.

  • 10. Casino at New York - New York
Casino at New York - New York, Las Vegas, Nevada

Another amazing hotel/casino to go see. The hotel looks like a bunch of new york skyscrapers all next to each other. The casino part looks reminiscent of a new york city street. There are building fronts and cobblestone streets, but perhaps the coolest part is the Nine Fine Irishmen Bar. Here they have the dueling pianos, which is so fun to watch.

  • 11. Greek Isles Hotel & Casino Star Theatre
Greek Isles Hotel & Casino Star Theatre, Las Vegas, Nevada

Specifically The Rat Pack is Back show. If you like the music of Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra, or if you just want that old Vegas type of show, check this out. This a tribute show to the Rat Pack, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr, and Joey Bishop. They even have a little guest appearance by a Marilyn Monroe Impersonator. I have seen it twice and loved it. The ony downside is that it's at the Greek Isles hotel/casino, which is very small and very boring.

  • 12. Masquerade Show in the Sky
Masquerade Show in the Sky, Las Vegas, Nevada

Slightly off strip at the Rio Hotel and Casino, is a very cool show. The show in the sky is a lot like Mardi Gras, only instead of the floats being on the street they are attached to the ceiling and literally "float" above you. There is also a big stage in the casino and during the parade there is great music and lots of scantily clad girls dancing on the stage. All in all, a very cool, very free show to see. And it wouldn't be Mardi Gras without beads, but you don't have to do anything to get these beads.
