Fort Lauderdale-Area Airports

Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport (FLL), located 3 miles southwest of downtown Fort Lauderdale, is the primary airport serving Fort Lauderdale and Broward County. The airport primarily handles domestic flights, but does have some international flights. Travelers can fly non-stop to points in Canada, the Caribbean and some short-haul destinations in Central and South America. FLL is a hub for Silver Airways and Spirit Airlines, and a mini-hub for Allegiant Air and JetBlue Airways.

Miami Airport is one of the busiest in the United States and the predominant airport for international flights to Latin America. Palm Beach is a smaller airport, but served by several low-cost carriers, including AirTran Airways, JetBlue, Southwest Airlines and Spirit.
