There are three commercial airports in the Moscow region.

Non-stop flights carry travelers across Russian, and to other destinations in Europe, Asia, Africa and North America.
Vnukovo International Airport (VKO), which is located about 28 km (17 miles) southwest of central Moscow, is the fourth busiest airport in Russia. The airport is a hub for Gazpromavia, I-Fly, Red Wings Airlines, Transaero Airlines, UTair Aviation and Yakutia Airlines. Flights are available to cities in Russia, elsewhere in Europe, Asia and North America.
