Arriving at Tel Aviv

Book a cheap flight to Tel Aviv and fly into Ben Gurion Airport, one of the world's most secure airports with the largest and most modern terminal in the Middle East. The airport is conveniently accessible with moving walkways and elevators, wireless Internet, banking facilities, money exchange, and business lounges. The terminal has its own shopping mall that also includes restaurants and a post office.

Getting Around Tel Aviv

Ben Gurion Airport is a 20-minute drive from Tel Aviv. Order a taxi at the taxi kiosk right outside the arrivals terminal. In Tel Aviv, taxis are a convenient way to get from one side of the city to another.

Upon arriving from your flight to Tel Aviv, you can take the train from the airport into the city. The train stop is some distance away from the terminal, but train travel is economical, quick, clean, and air-conditioned. For day trips outside of Tel Aviv, the train is a great way to get to most destinations and see the Israeli countryside.

Main attractions in Tel Aviv

One of the best things to do after arriving from your Tel Aviv flight is to soak up some sun and fun at the beach that borders the city. Visit Yaffo beach for laid-back bohemian culture or the Hilton beach for something more upscale.

Tel Aviv is made up of an eclectic mix of neighborhoods. Walk through Neve Tzedek for boutique shopping, cafes, and some of the city's best restaurants. Nachalat Binyamin is right in the city center and is a great place for people watching. The Tel Aviv Performing Arts Center is home to the Israeli Opera, classical music, jazz, world music, and more. Here you'll also find the Tel Aviv Museum of Art.

Spend an afternoon outdoors at Park Ha Yarkon or the Old Harbor promenade where you can enjoy cafes, ice cream parlors, shopping, and restaurants.

Shopping, Dining and Nightlife in Tel Aviv

Book your airfare to Israel and enjoy excellent, fresh, and delicious food. Be sure to try some of the Israeli street food including falafel, shwarma, sabich, hummus, and shukshuka.

While in this modern city center, get the best of luxury shopping and unique Israeli designs. Visit the Shuk Ha Pishpishim in Yaffo for antiques. Shenkin Street, Dizingoff Street, and Basel Area offer goods from Israeli designers. For some local flare, visit Shuk Ha Carmel for fresh produce, meat, and inexpensive clothes, trinkets and more.

Tel Aviv is a 24-hour city. For some of the bigger nightclubs, head out to the Old Harbor. Hop from bar to bar and enjoy the party that spills out onto the street on Levontin.
