Shopping, Dining, and Nightlife in Phuket

Phuket Town’s Central Festival and Patong’s Jungceylon are the two biggest malls in the area. These malls offer everything Thai-influenced, including dried seafood, pewter ware, cultured pearls, Thai clothing, and body ornaments. Food in the area is more cosmopolitan than local since many foreigners have set up shop here. Nonetheless, you can find many local cuisines and delicacies in the restaurants found in the malls and beach resorts. Thai cuisine is dominantly prepared with a lot of spices and choice herbs found in the region. As for drinks and night life, clubs and bars in Patong Beach are definitely the busiest and most visited. Go-go bars in Phuket are an usual attraction.
