There are many wonderful Thai and seafood restaurants to eat outside the hotel. Just talk to your GEM and they will make the restaurant bookings and call a taxi for you. The taxi is for 2 way and only cost 700 baht. The taxi will even stop at the town market on the way. Great way to venture out on your own and explore.

Staying here at the moment if you walk about 10/15 minutes out of the hotel you come to a parade of restaurants by the roadside. Just outside the hotel is also a little mini mart where you can pick up drinks etc at a fraction of the price.

Yes you can.... in theory. Koh Yao Noi is a very small island. The villages are therefor very small and rural. The road to the nearest village is not something you want to do in the evening (too dark and in the middle of nowhere. Maybe the hotel can assist you with there own tuktuk
