Is the hotel located in a safe neigbourhood for someone travelling alone?
Yes, Belltown is safe. But, like any city stay aware of your surroundings at night. The hotel is a walk from the sights, though if you're worried about walking back alone at night.
It seems to be quite safe. There's a major bus line running on the street 2 blocks away, and lots of nice bars and restaurants on the street near the hotel. There are also lots of nice apartment buildings on the streets in this area. We never saw any dodgy characters in the area near the hotel, even after dark.
Yes-- I say Belletown is safe-- mostly quiet residential with plenty of places to eat nearby. Overall, Seattle is safe. I would be cautious in the crowded tourist areas. Definitely stay at the Inn at El Gaucho
Hello, I think it is as safe as in a big city can be. I walk all over the city during the day, at night of course I would take more precautions as in any city. I do not know how long you are staying but if you are staying in this hotel you surely would want to have dinner there it is one of the best restaurants in our city.... I hope this helps
I felt safe. There are many restaurants and businesses in the neighborhood. Pike Public Market is close by also, so there is a lot if foot traffic in the area. That being said, with normal precautions in regards to safety, you should be just fine traveling alone. (Seattle PD also have officers on foot patrol in the area.)
