I already have a reservation, If I go there the date of my reservation can I ask for a specific type of room (interior vs exterior?)
Dear Jennifer G,
You are more than welcome to request interior/exterior rooms with the front desk. We would recommend notifying us prior to your arrival via email or phone. Although it cannot be guaranteed since it’s based on availability, we will certainly try our best to accommodate you.
We look forward to hearing from you!
When we checked in we asked for a king sized bed - the reservation was for a queen - and it was no problem. I'm sure they will assist if they can. Just ask when you arrive if there are any interior rooms. We stayed in 801 - super quiet and spacious with a king bed.
I don't think that would be a problem. Most hotels would be happy to give you any room you wish within your room price range based on availability at the time you arrive or before. This used to be a great hotel with an ideal NY location. The owners need to re-invest in it, but - unfortunately - I don't think that's coming any time soon. Also, if you're unhappy with your room when you walk into it, don't be intimidated to think you cannot asked to be moved to a different room. A good hotel would do that in a heartbeat. It's only when we tell a hotel what we really think do they make changes.
